Location

The hotel is located in the area of Parikia, just outside Paros Town, on a little hill overlooking the whole bay of Paros. Parikia's waterfront and beach is 150 metres away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 9 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a car hire service, a fax machine and a smoking area. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. We arrived at the hotel which is about half an hour walk uphill from the port to find the owner had overbooked the room. Was possibly a computer error so not entirely her fault but she was aware of the overbooking and should have made contact instead of waiting till we got there to tell us. It was the same for the other overbooked customers, no effort to tell in advance. One of the other customers was an older couple one of who clearly had a tough time getting up the hill with baggage. She asked everyone how much they had paid, presumably to give room to person who paid the most. She put me in touch with someone else she knew who had a room (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but only gave a vague location on a map of where to meet them. No other help. When trying to get the refund back from hotels.com it transpired that they were unable to contact the owner as she had given a fake number so she then gave us a real number she could be reached at, seemed very dodgy and unprofessional. Before we went on our way I asked if I could use the bathroom which she refused which I felt was absolutely ridiculous after putting us out with the overbooking and making us unnecessarily walk all the way up to her.

    Fantastic hostess friendly and informative about local sights and best restaurants and bars. I felt like I was living in the Muma Mia movie. Gorgeous hotel with artistic touches everywhere. Close enough to walk to the centre, removed enough to have peace and quiet if you wish.

    We have had a great time here! We loved the quirkiness of this little (what I would call) resort. The owner designed all of it herself 👌👌. Breakfast is great (fresh fruits, Greek yoghurt and honey: heaven). Not a standard guest house so it is perfect for people looking for a special location! 👏👏👏

    Description on the booking was "Romantic suite with pool view". In reality it was a cell that's just big enough for a bed. No desk or chair. Tiny window and door opens out to the parking lot facing the road so you will be awake all night as vehicles come and go. Very dirty and smelly. Location was far from everything. Wifi did not work unlessyou are next to the office and pool.

    Anthippi hotel is a gorgeous guesthouse in Parikia, Paros with exceptional beauty! Every little detail in that place is a work of art by the talented and sweet Anthippi, the owner. We stayed for a week in September 2019 and couldn't get enough of the view, the magnificent colours and smells from the garden, and Anthippi's amazing vibe and hospitality. If you are visiting Paros, this place is highly recommended for a quality and quiet stay in Parikia! Conveniently near to many restaurants (our personal favourite is Apollon Garden in Parikia), cafes and many beautiful beaches!! Enjoy!!
