    Excellent hotel with beautiful rooms

    rating01 Dec 2025

This is a beautiful hotel in a great central location in Thessaloniki. I felt like I was transported to another era surrounded by beautiful furnishings and walls with decorative moldings. Customer service is exceptional. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was great every morning, and they even make eggs to order. It was a true delight to stay here during our visit to Thessaloniki and we will definitely stay here again when we return someday. My address in Thessaloniki

    rating04 Jun 2025

This is a very special hotel. It is beautiful, tasteful and the services are first class. Staff is just in the right amount of friendly and ready to bring you whatever you want, whenever you want it. Front desk pretty much operates as your personal assistant - and a very reliable one, too. They answer all your questions, help with transfers, and they do all that with no pretense. Breakfast is generous and tasty, served in a very pleasent setting. Room service is another excellence. The location is unbeatable if you are focusing on historic Thessaloniki. The Bazaar is amazing! The little restaurants everywhere with good choices and rembetiko singers/players in each corner. We stayed in one bedroom suite. Very very quite, though the hotel is in the plpaza of all action. It was beautiful, decorated very loyally to the building's history, and greatly functional. The elevators and all other facilities are working perfectly. I wont look for another hotel the next time. Atmospheric hotel in great location

    rating13 May 2025

This hotel is in an excellent location within a pedestrianised area. There are many good restaurants and bars in this area. We walked to the main archeological sites and along the promenade. This was easy going. We also tried the new Metro which was easy to use and cheap. In our hotel we had a Bristol suite which was spacious and fitted with traditional furniture and antiques. It was a very comfortable room with the advantage of triple glazing. My only concern was breakfast. It was included in our room rate but the choice and quality of the food and drinks was relatively poor. Shame because we enjoyed our stay at the Bristol Capsis Zafiris Arabatzis, General Manager at Capsis Bristol Boutique Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind feedback! A comfortable base for exploring Thessaloniki

    rating12 May 2025

We spent a week here, following in the footsteps of St Paul, exploring the many churches, museums and monuments. Our understanding of some of the history of Thessaloniki was helped by Victoria Hislop’s novel, The Thread, which is set here. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally kind, friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite so had plenty of space for our week’s stay in this conveniently located hotel, near the sea and within walking distance of most places of interest. The bedlinen was changed and the rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel is in the bustling Ladadika area, full of restaurants and many visitors but the double windows meant that we could enjoy peace and quiet. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful with suggestions about what to choose when we were unsure. We were not very successful in operating the A/C and it’s a pity the bathroom scales didn’t work as we found we’d both put on weight by the end of the week! (To be fair, we did not mention this to the staff) We would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to return one day.
