Not a Four-Star Hotel — Avoid at All Costs

    rating03 Aug 2025

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel in Paros was so profoundly disappointing that I feel compelled to warn future guests. I originally attempted to leave this review on Booking.com, but it appears the owners have disabled or blocked the ability for guests to post reviews there — which is deeply concerning and speaks volumes. To begin with, the photos online were wildly misleading. What we arrived to was not even remotely close to a four-star hotel. The rooms looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 1950s — with old furniture, an archaic air conditioner that barely functioned, and a pervasive smell of mold and sewage that made it hard to sleep comfortably. The beds were also old, extremely uncomfortable, and very small — both in width and length (not standard single bed size) — making it impossible to rest properly. The “balcony” was another letdown — too small to sit on, with the air conditioning unit occupying most of the floor space and blasting hot air, making it completely unusable. The promised “sea view” simply did not exist. The breakfast was arguably the most shocking part. It consisted of the same recycled food every day, left out in the 35–40°C heat. Juices/water were warm, and the yogurt and fruit were also hot and stale. Nothing felt fresh, and hygiene was clearly not a priority. The housekeeping experience was equally unpleasant — the maid was consistently rude and dismissive. Despite being marketed as a beach hotel, no beach towels were provided — something you’d expect at even a basic resort, let alone a supposed four-star one. Finally, the Wi-Fi simply never worked — not once during our entire stay.I’ve visited Paros many times and have always encountered warm hospitality and beautiful accommodations. This hotel was a complete outlier — uncomfortable, falsely advertised, and entirely disappointing. I would strongly urge future guests to look elsewhere.

    Lovely Paros

    rating19 Jul 2025

To the Pnoi team! Apologies this is really delayed. We had an amazing stay at your hotel. From check, the restaurant and bar, you all were amazing. You all made our stay amazing. Christina helped organise appointments at the hair salon, the girls at the bar made drinks for the kids and just made it special for them.Kids enjoyed the pool! The room was really spacious and clean. We hired a car which I would suggest, so it is easy to get around the island. There is a lot to explore.Logaros beach is a 5- 8 minute walk from the hotel... the beach was nice but you will need to take beach towels/ chairs or you can hire some at a daily charge.Overall we had a great stay and are already discussing our next trip to Paros. Thank you for making our stay memorable and special. Keep up the good work and hopefully see you soon 😊

Nice hotel. Great staff and service. Nice little beach town.

Nice hotel. Great staff and service. Nice little beach town. The hotel is very nicely done and the rooms are well designed and finished. The pool is nice and has a safe shallow pool for the children. The waiters are very attentive, polite and friendly. The breakfast was good and dinner was decent quality. Management went out of their way to meet our needs. We were very happy. There is a bit of a walk (350 paces) down to the beach and other bars and restaurants but it was all fine. Those restaurants were more economic than the hotel food and there was a good selection of fish restaurants and general European/Mediterranean cuisine. The beach is half natural and half ‘managed’ (ie has sunbeds and umbrellas at the ‘restaurant end’ - note that they cost about €50 per day !!! - a bit of a shock to me!).The other end has some trees that give good shade - we liked that end. Paris is really windy which we found was great for sunbathing because it kept you nice and cool. Snorkelling around the rocks at that end was good - plenty of fish. There was a great coffee shop at the opposite end, just up onto the road that goes to the port. A 10 minute walk from the beach to the port is well worth it. There are a lot of nice restaurants right next to the water. The Captain Yannis boat tour was good (make sure you are at the quayside BEFORE 0945 - they leave on the dot).

    Solid option for Piso Livadi

    rating19 Jul 2024

Super enthusiastic welcome and intro to hotel from Eva who showed us the room (standard sea view) in this good 3 star plus hotel set 7 or 8 minutes from the sea front at Piso Livadi. Room was somewhat unexceptional but very clean and a comfy bed. Our balcony a little small but we weren't going to be on it much.Very good breakfast with something to suit all including Greek special pies as something different...the Greeks are more sweet than savoury focused at breakfast...Nice fresh fruit...still and sparkling bottled water. Breakfast terrace a bit tight when a lot of guests show up at the same time.Beautiful sparkling clean pool...decent size for swimming lengths. Plentiful loungers ( with necessary sun umbrellas) as well as shaded seats. Pool bar. We didn't eat or drink very much as prices were rather high for the level of hotel...but we did enjoy what we had (good toasties...!).All in all a good hotel as a Piso Livadi base...10 mins walk to first clutch of restaurants and another 15 or so beyond that to the quayside places at the port.TT recommends this hotel.

Don´t look for another place to stay at Logara Beach!

    rating08 Jul 2024

Pnoï was definitely a great surprise! For a 3* Hotel it was much better than I expected. The staff was soooo nice and welcoming. Constantina, Eva, Stelios,...They were all very kind and helpful. The pool area especially is really nice and charming. Logaras Beach is less than 5 minutes walking from the hotel and Piso Livadi is about 15 minutes. In both places you can find very good restaurants, bars and some shops. I highly recommend this hotel and I hope to revisit it!
