Hard to beat!

We stayed here for a week. The hotel sits next to the beach, it's your own pool. The water is shallow for a way out - perfect for children and less confident swimmers; the sandy shoreline is great. The room we had overlooked this view of crystal clear water across the sea. Nothing else mattered. The hotel is within a good spot as not too noisy ,although only 5 minutes away in either direction of busier areas. Demetrios, and his team runs this hotel exceptionally well. The family owned aspect keeps everything personal and attentive. It's located well for transport as Nafplio is bus trip/15 min car trip away. Beaches are close by and history awaits you. Did I mention breakfast? Spoilt! Fresh fruit, cakes, eggs ,range of cereals, not processed. Atmosphere friendly. Certainly excellent value, when comparing to other Greek hotels we've experienced this trip.

the hotel was at a nice location but the cleanliness of the rooms were not good I found several hairs on my pillows and bedsheets (I'm bald) the owner/manager was very rude and disrespectful and also the breakfast was not the brightest no good

What a wonderful experience! The view and rising to the sound of the ocean, simply wonderful. The staff was cery friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculately clean and in good working order. The breakfast was plentiful. The owner Mr. Dimimitris was honestly one of the bests hosts. Welcoming, hospitable and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed his beautiful history descriptions of the entire region, bringing a new appreciation and understanding for the places we were visiting.

Simple clean hotel on the beach ...

The hotel is old but has been nicely refurbished and is simple and clean. The rooms and bathroom are on the small side, but inline with the cost. A good size breakfast was also included. We had a sea view room with a small balcony. Great view over the beach area and surrounding islands. The hotel is literally at the waters edge. The staff were friendly. Only downside is no hotel parking, you need to find street parking which is not so easy. Beach is very close, as are the shops, resturants and cafes. Would come again and recommend for a good budget hotel.

Took 50 pupils here on a school trip for 2 nights. Fantastic service, staff were very welcoming, even though we were delayed on arrival at 10.30 at night they still ensured that our pupils had a hot meal. Rooms were clean and sizeable balcony overlooking the beach. Would definitely return.
