A Wonderful Stay at Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon Resort

I have just spent three wonderful weeks at Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon Resort, for the fourth time, and once again I am leaving with a truly positive impression.What I particularly appreciate is seeing how the resort continues to improve and evolve year after year. Every time I return, I notice new details, improvements and efforts to make the experience even better.The resort offers an almost indescribable combination of unspoiled nature, crystal-clear sea, a Blue Flag beach, beautiful surroundings, and the genuine warmth and hospitality of the Greek staff.The friendly, attentive and professional staff make the stay especially enjoyable and create that feeling of coming back to a place that feels familiar and welcoming.After four visits, I can honestly say that Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon Resort remains one of my favourite places to return to. I am already looking forward to coming back again!

For years, we’ve been saying in the hotel industry that the buildings are great, but the staff is lacking. Here, it’s exactly the opposite. The property is in need of serious renovation, but the staff, across all departments, is absolutely outstanding!Everyone was smiling, friendly, and polite. Despite the challenges that undoubtedly exist, the staff remained cheerful and welcoming throughout my stay.As for the room, it was spotlessly clean!The common areas, however, definitely need some attention and improvement.

Not accommodating for guests to eat without a car.

The room was spacious and nice. The jacuzzi tub had no stopper so was useless. The cleaning lady was marginal. If the wine bottles were not in the tiny garbage can she had to be asked to take them or they would stay on the floor. Breakfast was extensive and good. The staff was friendly for the most part. There is always one exception. The large restaurant was buffet only for dinner with a cost of 35 euros per person. Way too much money for those that are not big eaters. The other restaurants and bars stop serving at 1900 hours and the only restaurant left open will not seat you without a reservation even though it is completely empty. Only option left was room service which the food is not that great. Can pay for a taxi two ways into town which adds to the expense. Not very accommodating as they are quite remote.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Loutraki as a family. The heated pool was amazing and the kids really enjoyed it. The food was excellent with many tasty options, and the room was very clean and comfortable.The gardens were beautiful and very well maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. We truly enjoyed our vacation and would happily visit again.

We booked that so called 5 star hotel at the end of a 2 weeks road trip through Greece. It should have been the highlight of the holiday for 3 days but it turned out to the biggest disappointment of all in Greece.The room was ugly, very dark, old and noisy air condition was trying to make the job, unuseable terrace. We could not spend any minute in this surrounding. Who expect a 5 star hotel when booking a Junior Suite shoud stay away. Photos on the booking page have nothing to do with reality. It is a scandal for the Wyndham Group offering this hotel as a 5 star hotel.
