    Not a 4* hotel

    rating26 May 2026

The hotel’s aesthetic is lovely and is probably their biggest selling point. It’s the only thing I would say that is 4* about this hotel. The food and drink is more like 3*.You are given a piece of paper to collect towels for the pool/beach however you can only get clean towels every 2 days! And not before 10am. You need to bring this piece of paper with you every time you want clean towels, it’s a very ridiculous system. The towels are also very tatty and the worn out. On arrival our room was dirty (our feet were dirty after 5 mins) & it is not cleaned daily. There are bottles of water in your room on arrival but once these are gone, they are not replaced! Again for a 4* all inclusive this is crazy to me. Our room was very small & the toilet and shower cubicle even smaller. The “cocktails” are not 4* standard, it’s just juice from a gun & a spirit. The beach snack bar is positive, the pizzas are lovely.

    Just OK... if you squint.

If this place just pleaded guilty to being a 3* we wouldnt have been as disappointed (although we wouldn't have booked, especially for the price). We stayed for a week from 9th May and found that this place is style over substance/practicality... but also the style only stretches so far until money seems to have run out. Unfortunately the place seems to be falsely advertised for the sake of the 'gram. Much of it is very no frills. So although we made of it what we could and still enjoyed a week in the sun, we feel a bit ripped off. A fair list of observations, in no particular order:- "Refurbished" is a bit of a stretch. Feels as though its been attempted without the budget in place.- Bar drinks served from plastic tumblers which was so off-putting. Often they were discoloured or had rough drinking edges.- No premium options at bars. - Food in the main restaurant was repetitive and limited for the size of the hotel. Quality was very average.- Snack options at the splash park were either some sparsely filled baguettes or a thrown together cheese/ham toastie. Plus ice cream.- Check in at 1am took an hour because there was only one chap on reception who was dealing with several new guests as well as some rude complainants. I felt for him but we had an exhausted 4yo and a 7 month old who was melting down - it was a very slow and stressful process for us.- Very no frills approach to hotel info which was a sheet of paper with a list of facilities and opening hours. Very low effort and left us in the dark about how to make the most of the facilities or even where to find them.- Our triple room (283) was small with a king bed and a narrow sofa bed which had a thin, almost floor-hard mattress and smelled strongly of damp.- Room generally felt damp and clammy.- Very thin sheet provided on bed so was cold through the night.- Bathroom very small, with mouldy shower seals, grubby grout, and a shower that flooded on to the floor.- Very limited storage and surface areas for a family of 4, especially with a young baby.- Large mirrors hung in room weren't properly fixed to the walls.- Cot wasn't provided and once requested it arrived very old and stained. We didn't use it.- Vast disparity in rooms in terms of size, location, view etc.. it does seem a case of pot luck as to whether you get something satisfactory. Ours was a decent location overlooking the main pool but not the easiest to get to with the pram (long trek from reception and part of it required a haul up 2 steps as there was no ramp. Accessibility is definitely a faff here).- Laundry service was poor for €16. Was returned to me damp, smelling of drainage and barely folded.- Beach bar staff argued in front of me.- Kids playground was old and felt unsafe in parts (flaking, unmaintained timber and roasting hot surfaces).- Kids club was basic/limited and one of the huts was a dumping ground (locked up but not a great impression).- Much of the landscaping was either overgrown with weeds or bare and scruffy. Felt really uncared for especially the pathway walk down to the beach bar. Not a pretty scene for what should be a 4* facility.- Parasols around the pools are anchored so can't be moved. - No tables around the pool areas, just loungers so nowhere to put your bits and bobs.- Some unsightly areas of the hotel and annex building due to dirty render, bird poo, grubby glass/perspex, clash of old (un-modernised) parts with new.- Amphitheatre appeared to be out of use and was hazardous. Loads of crumbled plasterwork with sharp edges and loose debris. Kids were running around it - I dont understand why it wasnt cordoned off.- Beach/pool towel system was odd - you have to go down to the spa in the basement to get some and you can only swap them every 2 days. It was just so out of the way and if the spa staff were busy with a spa customer you had to wait. Few positive points:- Reception and pool areas nice to look at.- Splash park great for kids (no lifeguards though).- Cleaner worked hard.- Beach bar snacks were half decent.- Appreciated the large 6 pack of water on arrival.- Location is good, short walk to town (bonus tip: go eat at Ouzaki at the bottom of Eucalyptus St which serves incredible home style Greek food).- Bus stop right outside with routes to various places of interest.I am absolutely vehement that this is not a 4* experience, so if you're thinking of booking, I'd keep shopping if I were you. We booked through Jet2 who I dont think have audited this place properly. Try Tui, who we booked with last year at a more expensive destination but paid a lot less and received a true 4* holiday. Okay but some rude staff.

    rating19 May 2026

Stayed at the hotel for a total of 5 days, me and my friends booked separately and they was kind enough to go out of their way to accommodate to us by putting our rooms together which was also very clean. Overall the experience was lovely, we rented a car so there was plenty of places we could go to that wasn’t a long drive. The majority of staff was lovely and the food was good however there was an incident where when it came to entertainment at 8pm, everywhere was full so we chose to sit down on a free table that didn’t say was reserved. It had a table cloth and what not on but that was just from assumption because it had been dinner time and no one had used it. A couple came over with a member of staff who asked if we had a reservation, we responded no as we wasn’t aware that it was even possible to book these particular tables as they was near the entertainment floor. This particular staff member told us to stand up and was rude about the situation, one of us stood up and he straight away pulled the chair from behind her. The couple who reserved the table had said ‘shoo shoo’ now of course, this wasn’t a fault of the staff members however we would have appreciated it if it could have been said politely and addressed by the staff member. In the end due to this, we had to go back to our room as there was no where to sit and watch. This kind of put a downer on the night since we aren’t drinkers and it was too late to go out anywhere, other rooms such as the games room had been used just prior to going to the entertainment so we had no tokens left. I would recommend this hotel for an overall experience but make sure to go to entertainment as early as you can for a table or you will get rudely spoken to - we are young so that could have been a reason to be spoken to like that but then again - it also might not have been and even as young girls, we know the attitude and the situation in general was just purely disrespectful.
