  Fun activities, beautiful beach

  The food was good, the place is gorgeous.David has made the activities fun and enjoyable, the beach volleyball and the pool fitness was great. He was friendly and approachable. David made our trip more memorable.It was pretty difficult to get a drink in the bar, and it would be great to have a water dispenser so we don’t have to wait 10 minutes for a glass of water.   The hotel was in a wonderful location on the beach and near to everything including bars, restaurants? Shops and a bus stop at the front of the hotel. We had a nice room on the 3rd floor, the room was basically like a premier inn but with a view. The hotel catered for purely German tourists, the only entertainment we saw was for German tourists and nothing at all for other nationalities including English, no music at all only for the water aerobics in the morning for half an hour. The breakfast was very good and evening meal was fine, something for everyone. The bar drinks were expensive 2 vodka and coke €29. If they tasted nice I would not mind paying but they were local drinks. I would not return to this hotel as feel it’s mainly for German tourists and should be advertised as such. Sometimes it just happens that one nationality is more present than others, but that certainly doesn’t mean the hotel is “only” for them.We are sorry to hear that you felt our entertainment program was not sufficiently international. Our animation activities and evening shows are designed to appeal to a wide range of nationalities, but we understand that expectations can differ and we will take your comments into consideration when reviewing our program.Regarding your comment on the bar, we would like to clarify that the drinks you ordered were not local brands but international premium labels, which naturally come at a higher price. And it was not only “2 vodka and a Coke”, but several more.   Great job, animators

  I spent a week last month in this hotel and I can only recommend it to everyone. We had an amazing time together. What I really enjoyed is the daily programs the animators provided. We were never bored, there was always something they invited us. My favourite activity was morning yoga/stretching with the only man animator called David. After every session, my shoulders and hips felt better and during the day I didn't have problems I had before. But I also enjoyed the girls session.   AMAZING HOTEL!!!

  Currently staying at the Apollo Beach Hotel and WOW what an amazing hotel it is. Literally a 3 minute walk to the nightlife and shops/restaurants. Pool is amazing and the beach is right on your doorstep which is perfect especially when you have children and they don’t want to walk far in the heat. We have been coming to Rhodes for 17 years now and this hotel has 100% been one of the best. It’s the only hotel we have ever stayed at in high season where you can always get a sun-bed, lifts you don’t have to wait ages for, restaurant no queues. The hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Cleaners are fab and do such a great job :).We had a sea side view room and it was so beautiful, cant hear the noise of the nightlife when you close the balcony door which is fab. We have a room on the 3rd floor and it’s great. Food was so nice, breakfast was really good too and lots of stuff that children would like, pancakes were a big hit with ours. We picked half board and always had something different to choose from and food was really nice. We brought our own drinks down with us at dinner as there is a charge for them if you’re not all inclusive. There is a bbq area by the pool too and the pizzas and kebabs are just so good!!! All such great prices. Pool is cleaned every morning and it’s a lovely clean area to walk around. The on-site shop is perfect and has lots to offer. Staff are friendly and helpful. There was fireworks on the beach the other night we could see from the room and we watched an amazing show on the events stage that the hotel had organised. We celebrated our wedding anniversary on Saturday and they delivered a lovely basket of fruit to us which was very kind. We have had the best holiday and can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel. Our little boy has had such a great time here and been loving the pool :). Don’t let any negative reviews put you off clearly some people like to complain over nothing.   Exceptional hotel. Location is great, on the beach, central Faliraki, lots of tavernas and plenty choice of restaurants, shops. Close to Rhodes Old Town which is stunning. Good bus links/ lots of cars available for rent. Plenty of sunbeds, free to use, can easily access both beach and pool from sunbeds. Staff is great and very polite and helpful.Food is good, plenty of choice. Rooms are ok, ours had sea view.Guests usually polite, no drunken people etcLate check out not really available as very busy during peak time but they offered us a free dinner as an apology which I found extremely nice on their behalf.We came from Edinburgh via Jet2 holidays.Cannot fault the hotel, all was really good.If were to come back to Rhodes, would stay here again.
