    Never 5 Stars!

    rating25 Nov 2025

Booked as Jet 2 holiday package in one of the bungalows. Decor and facilities jaded. TV not able to accommodate screen share or fire stick. Maybe ok if you speak Greek , French or German as spoiled for choice of satellite Chanels but just one English and that was the news. Glass box shower/toilet arrangement in bungalow ridiculous- could be easily solved with blinds. Not really a spa hotel as appointments have to be made days in advance and even then in middle of day to accommodate travelling therapists. Poor choice in restaurant and wines missing from list and no discount offered if necessary to choose the next one up.

    A tranquil oasis in Lindos

    rating24 Oct 2025

A beautiful small hotel away from the crowds of Lindos but within walking distance of the town and very close to the bus station. The pool and garden were beautifully kept and with plenty of sunbeds. The room was spacious and spotless. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.Excellent breakfasts. The evening menu was a little limited but it was easy enough to walk into Lindos if you wanted something different.Would certainly recommend if you want a quiet, relaxing stay.

    Perfect for a relaxing break

    rating11 Oct 2025

Beautiful and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food. Pool could have been warmer! Everything was really clean and anything you need us provided. Didn’t use the spa facilities but they looked good. About 20 mins walk into Lindos village and beach - easy downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back but taxis easy to get for about €5. Supermarket 5mins from hotel. Lots of lovely rooftop tavernas in Lindos. If you are fit and active do visit the Acropolis if only for the views.

Stunning setting but the service lets it down

    rating20 Sept 2025

We stayed at Caesars Gardens & Spa in Lindos for our honeymoon. On first impressions the hotel is absolutely stunning – beautifully decorated, stylish and very chic. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is large with plenty of comfortable Bali beds, and the non-heated outdoor jacuzzi is a lovely touch. The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing with tasteful background music (never too loud or “in your face”), and the resident cats wandering around make it feel even more charming. There’s also a handy little supermarket just down the road which is great for stocking up on extras. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and overall the food we had on site was genuinely nice. That said, a lot didn’t live up to five-star expectations:• Wi-Fi in the rooms is essentially non-existent; we had to keep the door open to get any signal.• Service was a let-down. The welcome was impersonal, the breakfast/restaurant staff seemed fed-up and standoffish, and despite flagging our honeymoon in advance there was no acknowledgement, card or any small gesture.• Breakfast was very poor compared with the rest of the food. Limited buffet, same options every day, no fresh fruit freely available apart from some tired apples; ordering fruit gets you a few slices of kiwi on an empty plate. Bread sits out for hours and is stale.• Pricing at lunch/dinner is high – e.g. €7 for tzatziki without bread, €6 for a Diet Coke – which feels steep even for a five-star.• Only two small bottles of water per day are provided free of charge.• No complimentary shuttle to town or the beach despite the steep walk, whereas other nearby hotels offer this.• Sunbeds are “reserved” at dawn and left empty for hours, which the hotel seems to allow – very frustrating.Overall, Caesars Gardens & Spa has the potential to be an incredible property: it’s visually gorgeous, the pool area is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderfully calm. But the inconsistent service, disappointing breakfast and overall stinginess took the shine off what should have been a special stay.

Beautiful hotel with room for improvement

    rating05 Aug 2025

My stay at Caesars Gardens Hotel & Spa in Lindos was overall pleasant. The hotel is beautifully designed, very peaceful, and offers a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Sunbeds are always available, and there’s a strong sense of calm throughout the property. That said, there are several aspects that could be improved to truly meet the expectations of a luxury experience, especially considering the price point. The welcome upon arrival felt rather impersonal, lacking the warmth and attention to detail one would expect from a hotel in this category.Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, but the variety was limited and didn’t quite live up to five-star standards. The hotel is also somewhat removed from both the beach and the town, and the walking route into Lindos is not particularly pleasant. A complimentary shuttle service would certainly enhance guest comfort.Cleanliness could also be improved. During our stay, we noticed ants in the room, and the fruit left as a welcome amenity was already overripe. In my opinion, amenities such as a gym are essential in a hotel of this level and would significantly improve the guest experience.Additionally, small details like extra charges for in-room coffee and rather high food prices impact the overall sense of value for money.Overall, the hotel has a lot of charm and potential. It is a beautiful place, but a few thoughtful upgrades would help deliver an experience more in line with what one expects from a true luxury stay. I’m giving it 3 stars — not because I didn’t enjoy it, but because compared to other hotels in this price and category, it falls behind.
