  Enjoyable stay!

  Just returned from a week here as a family of 4, kids 11 & 9.Felt a bit wary as had seen mixed reviews, but we needn't have worried - had a really enjoyable stay here!!Kids loved being in the pool and the slides were great fun too, plenty of sun loungers.Nice atmosphere at the pool with a daily dance on the bridge by the animation team.Food was good and often delicious!Kids really loved the snack bar - ice cream served here, slushies, chips, burgers etc and Loukomades (like donut middles) were served every afternoon with a choice of sauces (chocolate/syrup etc) and sprinkles which the kids loved (all covered by all-inclusive).Staff I found to be all very friendly and accommodating.Had nice big room - 2 sections separated by curtain.Downsides: I agree some of the areas of the hotel are looking a bit tired, cocktails not the best - many taste the same, and just served in a juice glass not shaken or presented well. Our bathroom got very damp with condensed water dripping off the ceiling as no window or extractor fan.You can book coach excursions from a desk in the hotel lobby, or if you walk to Falraki Harbour (15mins ish) there are huts there to book boat trips. We went to Symi island - beautiful, but a long very windy boat ride to get there!Overall an enjoyable place to stay!

  Amazing family holiday

  Just back from a 9 night stay. We loved it here was a great holiday 2 kids aged 14 and 10 years old, my husband and myself. Would come back again. Great location. 20 minute walk to beach, 10 minutes to the shops. From the minute we arrived we was very welcomed by reception. Our room was basic with a double bed with sliding doors and 2 singles bed with a balcony perfect to sleep, chill in and get showered and changed, bed were comfortable. Pillows were very hard first night asked for softer pillows, they arrived the next day before bed so great service.Was my birthday whilst away and was greeted back to my room with banners, Balloons and bottle of bubbly to enjoy. I thought this was a lovely gesture, spot on!! Thank you very much.Food was ok in the restaurant very samey but u get that with most All inclusive holiday we enjoyed the food. We ate at the snack bar at lunch with burgers, hotdogs? Toasties, sandwhiches, salad ect. The ice creams and doughnut balls when down a treat kids loved them. Generous portions Entertainment was good the pink party at the pool with foam and flamingo and beach ball was absolutely amazing this was the best. They had evening enterinament Pedro and the acrobatics were amazing! They had daytime entertainment should u wish to join in like exercises, stretching waterpolo? Football, volleyball and all sorts Pools were great very cold when we first arrived but warmed up towards end of our stay. Once you were in they were very pleasant. Kids stayed in for ages. Swim up bar was great, the lifeguard at the main pool panious ( I think thats was his name) excellent job, but how can u just have one lifeguard for such a big pool.. need at least 2 something for the hotel to think about.Waterpark was great the slides the areaWas just a lovely holiday.. nothing bad to write. We went out and about a bit into old rhodes, Boat trips, waterpark not far either which was a great day out.The kids wanna go back again!   Average Family Holiday with Underwhelming Entertainment

  Decided to give this a 3/5, which I think is a fair rating for anyone considering Cyprotel Faliraki for their next holiday. I’m not saying it was bad at all, but overall the experience felt average compared to other holidays I’ve been on.The all-inclusive package was good, but not outstanding. The snack bar was definitely the highlight, with a great selection for both adults and children. The ice cream bar was excellent, and the designated Loukamades time slot was a brilliant touch — they were absolutely delicious and generous in portion size. However, I found the main food selection quite repetitive, with very little variety from day to day.The entertainment was probably the biggest disappointment for me. There were organised activities during the day and evening, but nothing really stood out or created a “wow” factor. The entertainment team seemed like lovely people, but compared to previous holidays, the overall entertainment felt quite lacklustre and forgettable.The rooms were basic and, in my opinion, not what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. I’d personally rate them closer to a three-star standard. The hotel complex itself is large, which has its benefits, but the rooms definitely need modernising — although that may come down to personal preference.The pools were a good size and ideal for families. The slides and foam party were great fun for adults/children and added some energy around the pool area. However, there was a noticeable issue with bees around the pool bars and drink dispensers, especially near the slides pool. At times there were 20–30 bees surrounding the dispenser, which made children nervous about approaching it. This is definitely something the hotel should address.Outside the hotel, the activities were fantastic. The train rides, boat trips, and scenery were exactly what you’d hope for when visiting Greece. This was my second visit to the country, and it continues to amaze me with how beautiful it is. Unfortunately, within the hotel itself, there often didn’t feel like enough to do, and we sometimes ended up going back to the room out of boredom.Overall, it was still a good holiday. The reception staff were generally lovely, although a few could have been a bit more welcoming. If you’re looking for a true four-star experience, I’d probably suggest looking elsewhere. However, if you want a decent three-star style family resort with good pool facilities and plenty to do outside the hotel, this could still be a good option.   An excellent family holiday

  Just on the coach to the airport, heading home. We’ve had a lovely family holiday at the Cyprotel Faliraki. Whilst the hotel is more of a top-end 3 star, the service was worthy of a 5 star review. We initially arrived and had a slight problem with our room allocation. Melina and Ilan were super helpful in resolving this for us, much to my children’s delight. They were sure to check that we were happy. For this I am very grateful. The food at the hotel was very much in line with AI standards, with slightly more to offer in at the snack bar than usual. The doughnut balls went down well! The animation team were very engaging, trying to get everyone involved in daily activities - morning stretching, boules, aqua aerobics, water polo etc. Everyone we met during our stay were welcoming and friendly. My daughter especially enjoyed the kids spa evening, having her hair, nails and make-up done. If you are going to be visiting during one of the hotel’s foam “pink party’s” - these are quite dangerous for young children, as they are held in the main pool which is rather deep (1.4m) even for children who can swim, Kids were fighting to grab one of the pink inflatable flamingos and subsequently trampled over my daughter, trapping her underneath. This was rather frightening. I can imagine it being an even more of a free for all during Summer holidays! During our visit, we got the little train into the centre of Faliraki at night (think it was 1930) (€10 adults, €5 kids up to 12 years). We also caught the local bus into Rhodes Old Town from the stop down the road (just up from the first supermarket). This was €2.50 per person each way and took about 50 minutes. All-in-all we had a lovely family holiday.
