  Looks lovely , offers zero relaxation in reality !

  Upon entry the hotel is stunning, nicely maintained and looks luxurious. We had paid for a premium sea view suite … looked beautiful upon entry, with a complimentary welcome gift and wine and sweet treats , amazing….OUR BUBBLE SOON BURST! You open the balcony doors to take in the view, to be greeted with the loudest music I ever heard at a hotel , 1980’s rock on permanent repeat… there is only so many times a person can be tortured into listening to the ‘final count down’ !! The volume was just too high. And no offence to Europe .. that song has had its day!Beneath our premium room they had placed the ping pong table! So from 730 am through to 1130 pm to add to the over played and extra loud music, you had the tip tap of a bouncing ball !!. The hotel has a kids area but this table was randomly placed far too close to the rooms. We were so disappointed! The beauty and serenity of the hotel does not match the butlins style chaos that echoes all day long.You can’t even enjoy the beach as you at times, can’t even hear the water for the excessively loud music !The pool bar is very basic and again doesn’t reflect the grandeur of the hotel, far too many disposable plastics being used !The food, although a good selection and beautifully cooked again is ruined.You can’t sit out side as there is usually a cinema sized screen kids activity going on in full view … and the staff are constantly scraping plates around you .. it’s gross your trying to eat a meal and a trolly gets pulls up besides you and you see your neighbours left overs launch into the bin ., Not pleasant and very off putting !The hotel offers no quiet areas , children run through the plush bar , so even at 10 o’clock at night .. you can’t even relax there for 5 minutes ! Honestly the worst hotel Ive ever been to .. it just portrays one thing and offers another ! We asked an hour after check in, to pay for our first night and be refunded for the rest of our stay so we could leave first thing and go else where , to find relaxation and to be able to enjoy the outside space ! Conveniently there was no manager to make that decision and no one replied to our request until after check out ! totally unacceptable and quite simply rude . We had made a calm and polite request … this place was not for us. Inside lovely , outside horrendous !Our aircon leaked for 2 days , spoke to 2 seperate reception staff before it got addressed, the cleaners were lovely in helping to clean up the puddles but again reception totally disrespectful of the inconvenience this caused .We were offered to change rooms ( we didn’t want to stay at the hotel at all - it was like being kept hostage ) but I have restricted mobility, the room was too far away with too many sets of small steps and it wasn’t the room grade we had paid for , so we declined .Also be aware you have to pay extra to use the inside pool … but again you can’t relax it has glass windows to the restaurant ( what idiot designed that, so even when the restaurant is closed you have staff voices, plates banging , cutlery clattering .. (honestly this hotel is clueless when it comes to hospitality expectations ) We had a stunning view on the sea view balcony that we paid for … but couldn’t sit out there for the constant noise … about 11.45 at night when it fell quite you may have a minute to hear a tree rustle but as soon as you open your eyes .. the excessive noise starts again !So our holiday was ruined , our instant request to leave, was denied … my only saving grace was that I paid via Expedia and they offered compensation.This hotel is over priced and offers zero relaxation … other family hotels around the world, manage to blend so both families and couples have enjoyment .This hotel doesn’t care for enjoyment and relaxation .. they just money for inferior offerings! Our reception team immediately offered you the quietest suite available in the hotel. However, you declined it due to the distance and the presence of small steps, mentioning that you have restricted mobility, something we were not informed of in advance. We also proposed to show you another room the following day but this offer was declined as well.The main concern you raised was related to the noise from the pool and the entertainment activities. As clearly mentioned in our hotel’s description, we are a family-friendly hotel with daily entertainment programs and activities taking place around the pool and public areas. For guests seeking a completely quiet and child-free environment, an adults-only property would be a more suitable option.Regarding your request to check out early and receive a refund, we informed you that since your booking was made via Expedia, any change or refund request would need to be handled directly through them. After their review, it was confirmed that the hotel had fulfilled all commitments according to the description provided on their platform.Throughout your stay, no further complaints were registered at reception.   Went with 2 friends and had a great time all the facilities were to an amazing standard would recommend for friends and family to come and stay here. The entertainment crew and all the staff around the hotel were amazing and definitely made our stay at this hotel very memorable, Emile and Marika from the entertainment crew were amazing and so friendly!! 10/10 would come back to this resort!!
