  Great Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement

  We had a very enjoyable stay at Electra Palace and would happily consider returning in the future. The hotel is clean, modern, well maintained, and conveniently located close to the airport. The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. We also appreciated the QR-code ordering system, which made ordering drinks easy and convenient. Beautiful sunsets. We also appreciated having the minibar stocked upon arrival.The food was good, with variety throughout the week. The Italian restaurant was great, and it was amazing that the lunch was included in the all-inclusive package. The caesar salad was good. One small suggestion would be to make portion sizes clearer on the menu, as the flatbread is more like a full pizza than a side dish, which appeared to cause some unnecessary food waste.The atmosphere around the hotel was relaxed and pleasant. Staff were never pushy, which we appreciated. The cats around the resort were also a lovely addition and brought a lot of charm to the hotel. They are very friendly and was a highlight for us everyday. A small sign in the outdoor restaurant area explaining that they are cared for and do not need to be fed could be helpful. I did not see anyone feed them, but maybe some does it. I could see that a lot of people appreciated the cats. 🥰The biggest area for improvement is the drinks. There was a noticeable lack of consistency between bartenders, but regardless of who made them, we unfortunately did not find the cocktails particularly enjoyable. We tried a wide range throughout the week but never found one we genuinely looked forward to ordering again. The flavours often felt off and did not match what we would expect from the cocktails advertised. They are really sweet and seems cheap. As a result, the drinks took away from the overall all-inclusive experience. We found ourselves ordering drinks because we had to regard to the all inclusive package, but were never really actually enjoying them. The soft drinks could also be improved a lot. The dispenser drinks often tasted flat or overly sweet, and we missed having more sugar-free options as well as bottled/canned and more branded alternatives.The dinner drink service could be improved slightly. Staff would take an order when guests were seated, but getting a refill later in the meal was never asked for. A simple follow-up check during dinner would make a difference.We also feel the hotel’s sunbed policy needs stronger enforcement. Several of the front-row sunbeds by the pool were reserved early each morning with towels and then left unused for hours during breakfast. This was especially noticeable later in the week as more guests arrived. While there were usually enough sunbeds available overall in the morning, it was frustrating to see some of the best spots effectively blocked for long periods without being used in the morning. The policy could be enforced more consistently and communicated more clearly to guests, and the beach towels should be removed in the morning as advertised as an rule at the hotel. It seems unfair when some people don't follow this rule, and are getting away with it several days.One final point is that our double room consisted of two single beds pushed together rather than a true double bed.Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed our week. With some improvements to the drinks and better enforcement of the sunbed policy, the experience would be even better. We would love to come back, but hope that these areas will be improved.   We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Electra Palace, Rhodes. This is our 2nd visit here and it didn’t disappoint. Everything from the helpful staff, lovely food and excellent facilities. The Greek restaurant is a must. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. There is also a lovely gift shop in the complex. We will be back again for a third time at some point.   Lovely hotel by the beach

  We had a lovely stay at the Electra Palace as a family vacation. Restaurants- there are 3 à la cartes, the Italian is really good with lots of lunch and dinner options and cater well for kids. The buffet was fine also, with plenty of options. Bakery is great too where kids can get snacks anytime during the day. Good for grabbing small snacks when going sightseeing. Facilities- great, very clean hotel and plenty of sun bed options from sun loungers to beds. What is great is no one is allowed to reserve loungers which is great so there is always loungers available no matter what time you head to the pool. However, if you want a bed lounger best to get there early.Location- very good, it is quite close to the airport so you do see the planes descending down. But only a 10 min cab ride to the old town and new town. Pebble beach behind the hotel which is stunning at sunset. Entertainment- variety of entertainment in the evening. Was enjoyable. Rooms- cleaned to a good standard. We were in a suite which was spacious enough for a family with 2 children and the children get their own beds. Lots of cupboard space which was great. Overall, a great hotel, not sure if it would class as a 5 star but definitely a good 4star. Some Points to improve- The hotel does provide metal water bottles which is a great idea being sustainable however, the water tastes of metal. So I’m not sure if they are stainless steel. There should also be a towel station by the pool side as guests are expected to take their used beach towels upto the room and they are then replaced by cleaning staff.   Amazing hotel

  We arrived the hotel really late and the staff had food in the fridge prior to our arrival. Food was really good. Rooms were clean, the atmosphere was lovely. The à la carte restaurants were good - you just had to book quickly enough. Activities on the grounds were impressive. All aspects of your stay are catered to. Giada and her team were amazing.   Great time in Rhodes

  We came here for 6 nights, my daughter enjoyed, spending time with Foteini. She has been so lovely and kind. Ronya, one of the girls did fantastic face paintings for my daughter. Christina does fantastic water sports. Beaches were beautiful and clean. Gaida was kind to my daughter. Marina was fantastic and cleaned the room up to standard. I became good friends with Foteini as well and I came back every day to have a chat. I enjoyed their company a lot. Thank you guys at mini club. Also the entertainment was amazing.
