  Very kind, welcoming and always ready to help staff in restaurants, pools, bars and reception. The resort spread on a large area offering many attractions, pools and more.Food: Great breakfast and lunch. With a variety of restaurants. A nice clothes shop owned by a very kind woman. In addition to a small market with many souvenirs and inflatable toys and gadgets for the pool in addition to all the regular stuff in case you forget anything.Disliked: during the last two nights out of seven nights there was a big increase of annoying bugs and mosquitoes!

We arrived in the late afternoon and unfortunately experienced a few issues regarding our room and service. However, the Guest Relations team handled our concerns with empathy and professionalism, and we appreciated being able to maintain open and constructive communication with them throughout our stay.We made every effort to enjoy our holiday as much as possible, and overall we did. We would also like to compliment the spa team for their excellent service and warm hospitality.Unfortunately, our experience at reception was less positive due to repeated interactions with one of the reception managers, an older lady with short hair. On each occasion, she came across as unfriendly and visibly overwhelmed, which made communication rather uncomfortable. Her manner towards staff also felt unnecessarily harsh and at times gave the impression of a very tense working environment.We came here with our family looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Regrettably, the service we received at reception often made us feel unwelcome rather than valued as guests. After several uncomfortable encounters, we felt it necessary to raise our concerns with our travel agency.It is genuinely disappointing, as the resort itself is beautiful and has so much to offer. Sadly, because of these repeated experiences at reception, this will most likely be our first and last visit.As guests, you hope to feel welcomed and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel. Unfortunately, the atmosphere around reception often felt tense, and it was noticeable that some members of staff already appeared exhausted despite it being only the beginning of the season.

  I had the best week of my life!Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The welcome we received at reception was 10/10 – we were greeted with Prosecco on arrival, and our room was ready before the official check-in time, which was a lovely surprise. A special thank you to Eleen, who personally showed us to our room and made us feel so welcome.The room was amazing. We had a private pool, and honestly, it couldn't have been better. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations.The food was excellent throughout our stay, with the Steakhouse being our absolute favourite.And now for the best part – the drinks! I can honestly say I've never had better cocktails in my life. A huge thank you to Chris at the pool bar, who made every drink unforgettable and added so much to our experience.Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so special.   Superb stay in a lovely 5* resort

  This hotel is amazing. The rooms are big and have everything you need. The staff are so helpful and friendly and work really hard to look after the guests. The whole hotel is absolutely spotless and very well looked after. The food in all restaurants is varied, there is something for everyone. There are 10 restaurants to choose from! It is also replenished frequently and the hot food is hot! The drinks are excellent too. Table service is available even at sun loungers. Cocktails are very nice. There are no sun-bed issues here - there are plenty for everyone. They are not the plastic beds but a more luxurious thick mattress style bed. However, if you get a room with a private pool, you will have your own private terrace with sun beds. These rooms are fantastic! The views are stunning. The pools are freshwater but not heated - rest assured the temperature difference is needed after a few hours in the sun.The hotel its self is well laid out. The tables etc are spaced to give plenty of room. It does not feel cramped or full. The atmosphere is calming, there are spots where you can completely relax with little other noise around you. The beach is especially good for this. The entertainment is light and classy in an evening. Overall, one of my favourite hotels for a peaceful and relaxing stay with an impressive and modern style with kind and attentive staff. Will definitely return.   GENNADI GRAND RESORT Rhodes Review + photo's

  GENNADI GRAND RESORT in the centre of Rhodes is an ultra modern, minimalistic all white hotel which we booked for 5 days after visiting Athens.This was at the beginning of May and to begin with the hotel wasn't at all busy.Good points.......Food, rooms ( we had a sea facing suite ) staff and services are all excellent. We'd booked all inclusive and tried two of their other restaurants but also found the main buffet restaurant to be easy and the food of a high standard too.I was very pleased to find that they had daily Yoga classes for all levels, stretch classes and water aerobics too. Their yoga teacher was a highlight of this holiday for me.....All the swimming pools were large, clean and safe but very, very cold so I was the only person brave enough to do her water aerobics class.They also have tennis and onsite availability for water sportsTwo nights they had a couple of dancers in the evening who's Tango's etc entertained us in the huge bar area and also a first rate pianist and violinist. Apart from that it was early in the season so not a lot else going on.I'm so glad I'd read earlier reviews and took our sea shoes- you definitely need them. This resort's beach was a bit like the dark gritty sand you find in the Canary Islands. Plenty of sun beds everywhere, so no problems there at all, but remember this was early in the season.Criticism's not many: I felt all the general staff were run under a strict military rule to please us, which for such a large organisation I suppose was necessary but it left me feeling slightly uncomfortable although it didn't bother my partner as he hadn't noticed.We both love minimalist houses but all the white huge expanse of the interiors ( no artwork ) we found very cold and I just wanted to place the odd bit of some fun large modern art work or bright 60's furniture to break it up, but perhaps that's just me and probably totally unpractical in high season and only my critic.The wonderful, white and beautiful blue of the properties in Lindos were a delight and well worth a visit and I'm so glad we drove to the small welcoming Kallithea Springs, but cannot imagine how these places are in high season, heaving I imagine!Recommend this hotel for all ages ( perfect for young families with a baby, some rooms have their own small pools at the front )and great for people that don't want noisy nightlife, brilliant food and large rooms.The Safe broke down 3 times, just a nuisance and 2 times the excellent chap came speedily twice 3rd time it took a waste of an hour and a half waiting for repair. I didn't use the Spa, but would recommend they do a free treatment to entice you in....You definitely need a car as nothing interesting close by.
