  Our second time staying at George Beach apartments. We stay in the POUNEDES LUXURY SUITES with our friends who stay in the suite next door. The 2 suites share a courtyard garden which is so beautiful and the generous garden furniture for both apartments means we can sit as a group of 8 each morning having breakfast. It's a private courtyard and nice and safe for the children to play whilst we are getting ready in the evenings. The apartments are very clean and regularly maintained during our stay. Communication with the owners is easy and hassle free. They are always very accommodating.This year we had an additional camp style bed which was a welcome addition to not have the children arguing about sharing a sofa bed. We hope to be back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  Great place to stay, but even better if you want to be called thieves

  Please don't get me wrong, the apartment and the upgrade was great. However, at the check-out we were not well treated so other customers should know about it. I used a credit card to guarantee the reservation and I wasn't charged at check-in, as is the procedure in all the hotels I've stayed in and worked in. As I had a guarantee card, I thought I would be charged. However, they didn't, and on the way to the next town, the owner came at high speed and stopped on the wrong side of the road claiming and shouting that we hadn't paid, when we had left a guarantee card and he hadn't charged us in person at check-in and hadn't even mentioned anything about the payment and even made us go to the reception, but just to check our room number. We had to turn back and miss our bus and breakfast to pay. It never happened to me that I was accused of not wanting to pay, literally calling us thieves, when it should have been in the owner's interest to make the charge if he didn't have access to the details of the card secured with Booking. From a perfect impression to an opinion that leaves me wanting never to return. Please see the exchange with the owners. First that say that it was not our fault and it was their bad not letting us know about the payment procedure and after I explained how I felt about the situation, once again we were accused for not wanting to pay. Very bad customer care at the end. Besides that, all good but leaving with a bitter feeling so I'm giving one star.

  GREEK ADVENTURE .

  We booked through chatting with Ireni at Lee Beach cafe so had alreay a local knowledge of the area having holidayed here before.Location is great,with a slightly less torturous hill to climb than some other venues.5 minutes to the glorious clear sea !We encountered a couple of glitches which could have been picked up by a more thorough pre -arrival check but the emails and resolution were both polite and swift.The apartment is clean,well apppinted and quiet.Late check out and fresh towels for a pre home shower arranged and our taxi all booked for us.We would for sure return.TY George and team.X

  The location is really good for families. It is far away from the crowd and noise. Thanks to the owners George and Irine , they were kind and helpful. Very close to the Pefki beach, which is excellent ( very clean water and amazing sand). I hope I might visit again asap.

  My wife and I have just returned from a twelve night stay at these studios and apart from a few initial teething problems it was a very relaxing, pleasurable stay. It’s a twelve unit , family run,appartment block (on three levels) and we booked one of the three , two bedroom units as my wife’s sister and partner were joining us for a few days. There are also a couple of associated villas a short distance away but I can’t comment on those. To be honest, these two bedroom units are a studio with a self contained mezzanine level and not really appropriate for four adults - unless you’re very well acquainted! The mezzanine bedroom is accessed directly from the ground floor bedroom via VERY steep stairs. This comment is in by no way any criticism because for a family (two adults, two children) they would be perfectly adequate.The rooms are in immaculate order with very comfy beds and cleaned every day. Each, admittedly, small balcony has a lovely view out towards the sea and the inclusive air conditioning works perfectly. Our booking( not all do) included breakfast which was delivered to your door each morning at the time of your choice. A real nice touch. We weren’t expecting anything grand for breakfast but it was varied and plentiful - Greek yoghurt (with nuts, honey etc), orange juice, omelette, fried egg, sandwiches, pastries and always fresh fruit. The freshly picked figs from the nearby trees were just beautiful.As for the location, Kavos beach is about ten minutes and the Main beach is not much further. The centre of Pefkos is 10/15 minutes walk and the nearest restaurant (Nikolas - excellent) just 400mtres up on the main road. The centre of Pefkos has many excellent restaurants but if you want to try the best moussaka in creation then go to the Happy Friends. You need to wait for it to be prepared but it’s worth it!Now remember. This is a Greek island and it’s hilly! You do need a degree of fitness to cope with the terrain. I’d like to thank the owner, Mr George, and his family for making our holiday one to remember.Tip: book a taxi from the airport even if you have an inclusive transfer. It’s 65euros well spent as it’s a long transfer and the package holiday transfer takes forever!
