  I recently stayed at the Hermes City Hotel for a weekend break and would like to share my experience with those who might be considering this hotel as an option, as I had a very positive experience.I would like to say a few words about the location: the hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps from Mandraki Harbour and a short walk from the medieval Old Town. For tourists who prefer to travel by public transport, there are two bus stops just across the road - one serving the local public transport network and another for long-distance buses connecting to the island’s main tourist attractions.The room was consistently clean (with special thanks to the lovely housekeeper, Irina), comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location close to local attractions. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the impressive view of the harbour and the Aegean Sea.The staff are friendly and professional, making the stay comfortable and always willing to assist with any queries.Breakfast offered a good variety of food, so you won’t go hungry (this is a standard European hotel whose offering is perfectly adequate). The dining area was pleasant and well organized, and I had no issues with Wi-Fi.Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay at a reasonable price.

  Great location, friendly, surprised only 2 star

  Good Value HotelGreat Location - perfect base to explore Rhodes townGood breakfast Exceptionally friendly and 24hr reception We were a family of 6 (grandparents, parents and 2 children age 11 and 14). Stayed in 2 room for 3 nights at approx £500 in total.We arrived very late - circa 1am - but was no problem at all.Yes some corridors etc looked like they had not been decorated for a while, but in second part of holiday we stay in 4 star complex and that was not much different. Room had aircon, clean and well maintained. Small balcony and absolutely perfect location. Some say noise at night, but it is Rhodes town and things tend to be open until 1am ish. Some reviews also comment on breakfast. Our age groups downed from 11 to 75 and all agreed breakfast was very good. No hot food and all continental but accepting that really good quality. The Greek yoghurt in particular and fresh bread and warm non croissants and off course cake was enjoyed by us all. When I booked, I was sceptical based on it only being a 2 star hotel. But having stayed there, I would definitely stay again and would recommend.You will see I do not do many reviews. The fact I was kent o put a review here and rate 5 stars I hope conveys our sentiment and experience.Thank you to Hotel Hermes and the staff for being so hospitable and providing great value accommodation and friendly atmosphere for a family trip to Rhodes.

  Ii lost my airpods at the hotel and no effort was made to find them. The receptionist called back too fast, meaning they did not even try to look for them. I will not be coming back to this hotel since this is how they treat their guests. thank you.

  Great location - basic but great value for money

  Perfect location for using the port. We only stayed one night so the place was great for us. Rooms basic and breakfast too but for the price you can’t go wrong £70 ish for a room. We had a sea view too and view of the port. Bring ear plugs because of the location it can get a bit noisy. Would I stay here again definitely - but only for a night before I head off to explore the other islands nearby.

  Overnight stay in Rhodes town

  Lovely city centre hotel we booked a overnight stay after travelling by bus from Pefkos it is 2 minutes walk from the bus stop.Nice and handy for the old town,new town and harbour. Staff are very pleasant and helpful and rooms are fine small balcony comfortable beds.Breakfast has goos selection of cereals and cold meats enough to start the day.If in Rhodes town would definitely stay again.
