  far exceeded our expectations -spotless clean property, comfortable spacious room, good location with free parking, close to local restaurants, helpful staff. We were only one night at this property, and to be honest we were concerned prior to our arrival. If you need a place to overnight in Tijuana (possibly before a flight as we did), this is definitely the place to stay. They clearly are going overboard to keep the place clean and friendly.

  Deceptive business practices!

  Do not stay here if you value honesty and integrity! Prior to booking at Holiday Inn we stayed a few nights at a nearby hotel where all was fine until the party crew moved in. Had one more day in Tijuana before our long 2 days of travel began. Given party crew was still rolling at 6am, we decided we should find another hotel with immediate check-in availability. Called the HI and we're assured we could check-in right away. Our flight was 11 hours later and we needed sleep. Go online and make booking (pay in full); check out of current hotel; call HI to let them know we're on our way and they inform us that room is not available now and that we cannot check-in any earlier than 3pm! I advised that I would like a refund given they could not accommodate us as previously promised and they refused. We explained that we would NOT be checking in and that we would fight for the refund. We are long-time IHG Members and I will escalate the claim. Don't stay here. Staff cannot be trusted. We learned the hard way. Paid $127 for a room we could not get into.   Decent hotel, odd area

  A nice Holiday Inn, unlike many in the U.S. Clean, comfy. The area is safe, but nothing really to do within a walking distance. A perfect spot to stay overnight or two traveling through, but I'd look for something closer to the areas of interest iv visiting for any longer.

  The customer service staff (especially the front desk staff 👍) are super friendly and go beyond what's expected.Convenient location. Good restaurants/cafes/bars are within walking distance. Hotels (even some pricier ones) can be hit or miss in TJ. This is not the case at this holiday inn, the interiors are well maintained, and facilities are on par with other international destinations.I'll be returning here for sure when in the area.
