  THIEFS! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

  AVOID AT ALL COST!!!My experience at Iatridis Studios was the worse I ever had. I informed the host back in UK that my flight is 2h late and I won't be arriving till midnight. I have never received reply so I wasn't sure what's the procedures for checking in at that time. Once I got to Studios I rung the number as advised on the desk without answer. At 1am I finally got message that the key was left for me on windowsill. Exhausted I have fallen asleep. Next morning I decide to leave the room for a day and spent it on the beach, however once I got back I discovered that someone been in my room and took 40€ from my wallet. Immediately I called host just to be told that it was her mother who cleaned the room (I just arrived! What was there to clean?!) and she wouldn't steal the money and that I should be more careful and put my belongings in the safe! I told her that if I don't see my money back next day I will report this and call police. Of course money was never returned so I called loveholiday.com and explained situation. The host Sofia told me that she tried to return my money but because I wasn't in my room she decided not to, and because I reported her she wasn't willing to cooperate with me anymore. I traveled 7h to this place expecting peaceful and relaxing holiday, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Room is dirty, there are cobwebs in the corner, bathroom barely touched and shower curtain yellow and moldy. AC costs 7€ per day and that swimming pool in the background is empty so don't get fooled you will enjoy nice time by the pool. Extremely disappointing experience and I won't be returning to Faliraki ever again!

  Lovely host ( Sofia ) Value for money yes Convenient to shopping & nightlife Yes 300m to beach Clean apartment with all you need Yes we certainly would return Extra pillows would be a bonus Wifi could be stronger There is no pool which didn't matter to us Large supermarket 150 m away

  Big empty pool!

  The first thing you see when you walk in the gate is an empty swimming pool. The photos show a swimming pool in the background so you presume it has a pool but when you get there you will find it empty. Who wants to look down at an empty swimming pool from their balcony. The owner was horrible when we asked her about it. We saw the room but we didn't stay. The room was dated and basic. We would have stayed if there had been a pool because the location is convenient. We ended up having to book somewhere else for our week. Very very disappointing. Photos showing a pool shouldn't be allowed if there is no pool.

  In general there weren’t serious problems. Hot water 24/7, no insects in the room, honest and friendly hostess. You can spend your vacation without big inconvenience.+ Price matched quality: it’s economy hotel with spartan conditions+ Air-conditioner was included in the price (for Booking customers) and it was very useful because the windows of all rooms faced east (beautiful sunrise!) and it was hot in the morning+ Location isn’t bad – good supermarket and bus stop (to Lindos) right next to the hotel, 5 min walk to the Faliraki center, 10 min to the beach+ Our room was clean at check-in, then we asked not to clean it, although the hostess proposed every day+ Towels’ change every 2 days, bed linen – every 3 days+ Kitchen in the room was small and silmple, but there was the necessary minimum of dishes and even detergent+ Enough lighting in the room and in the bathroom+ Good noise isolation from the neighbors, we heared only some sounds of their bathroom+ Beds were basic but comfortable+ After check-out we could leave the luggage and food in the hostess's room and even changed the clothes and used the toilet (but not shower!) after a day on the beach+ Although the hotel is situated near the main road it wasn’t too noisy if you close the window, but it wasn’t very pleasant to have a dinner on the balcony+ Windows face the road not directly, but on the green area of the closed bar (there was a pool, but also closed)But many small problems didn’t allow us to relax on the vacation:- Awful bathroom as always in Greece. We were attracted by the photo of a bath instead of a shower, but it was very uncomfortable. The curtain was placed so that it ate half of the space and it literally hugged us in the shower. If we moved it a bit the floor was flooded with water- Old sanitaryware – the taps opened and closed with effort (and often leaked), the toilet tank was very noisy. The towel hooks were uncomfortable and the ventilation window was situated too high (not tall person couldn’t open it)- Air-conditioner blowed right on the bed, so we had to move ALL the furniture in the room so as not to get sick and not sleep in the heat. It would be nice to sleep with an open balcony, but there wasn’t mosquito net, although it would be cheaper than using air-conditioner- There were only 3 free sockets in the room – near the door and near the balcony (where they were useless) + one dangerous broken socket near the bed. No one near the kitchen or in the bathroom. It was also unsafe to use a kettle that didn’t turn off automatically- Beds were single and to make a double one in the middle there was an useless and dirty foam-rubber- Internet was very bad and slow- Hostess was very friendly but not helpful. She knew nothing about Rhodes: price of taxi, buses on the island, good restaurant or car rental. She didn’t provide transfers and didn’t know how to reach hotel from the airport or port. All the information we found out ourselves- There is no reception, the hostess was in the hotel only 3-4 hours in the morning and at check-in/check-out. So if you need something urgently it’s possible to contact her only by Whatsapp, but she responds quickly- Security in the hotel wasn’t good. The entrance door was always open, no reception, anyone could go to the rooms 24/7. One day an unknown man kicked our door 3 times and it was terrifying because the plstic room doors were so flimsy that they could be broken easily. There was a safe in the room, but the lock wasn’t a code, only simple key

  Room was nice and had everything, but it was not very cosy or nicely decorated, which is completely understandable and fair for how cheap the hotel is. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found out that the pool was empty, so there is no pool. The host, Sofia, is really friendly and wants to help out whenever she can. Our room was cleaned almost everyday, which was completely unneccesary, but very sweet of Sofia to do. Would recommend if you are looking for a cheaper hotel!
