    Fabulous apartments and amenities. The family and staff at Johannes apartments certainly look after their guests. Perfect location for the local village of Afandou with its traditional bars and restaurants. The apartments and pool area are of a very high standard. Would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

    Johanna and his family are very friendly, warm and welcoming people. We arrived late and they were very accommodating serving us a lovely Greek salad. Our room was very comfortable and we had a little terrace to sit out on. Unfortunately we left the day before they were planning on doing a big dinner for the guests but all the food we ate there was fantastic so I bet that would have been amazing too. I would definitely recommend this place. I would suggest hiring a car because it is abit away from restaurants and bars etc but there is a big supermarket 2 minutes down the road if you would like to just do self catering.

    We have just had a wonderful week and were thrilled with the accommodation. It had everything that we needed. Spotlessly clean and the hosts were so thoughtful. They welcomed us with wine and fruit which was such a nice touch. We would definitely recommend the apartments and look forward to returning again soon.

    Rhodes is a wonderful island and Johannes is the perfect host. He’s kind and can make you feel home. The whole structure has been recently refurbished with exquisite taste and looks great. Room, bar and pool are all brand new and shiny. We’ll go back again!

    The most Authentic Greek holiday ever

    We stayed at Johannes for eleven nights and we must say it’s the best holiday we have ever had.We lived in Rhodes in 2001/02 and decided that Afandou was the best location to revisit the island. The apartments are lovely with 24 in total. We had a lovely modern 1 bed apartment which had a really lovely view. It was bright and modern with A/C.The gardens are lovely with flowering trees and a selection of fruit trees from which you can help yourself. The entire area is spotless and beautifully landscaped.The pool and restaurant area is a delight and has been very tastefully finished. What really makes this an ‘authentic’ Greek experience is the family that run it. Nothing is too much trouble, they always make you laugh and they welcome you as though you are their family.The food in the restaurant is very good with specials available as well as a standard menu. All in all I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Whilst we were there there was a mix of nationalities from British to German to Italian. It made for a very cosmopolitan feel.Johannes and family we will be back very soon.Andy, Philippa, Lilia and Kimmy.
