Location

This hotel affords a hillside location and sea views. A rocky beach is 200 m away. The hotel was modernised in 2023. The hotel has 5 lifts and features 285 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock.     Amazing! Probably the best holiday we have had so far- the hotel is perfect for what you need, the pool is lovely and staff are so nice and welcoming. We just have breakfast included in our stay, and have lunch at the pool bar-the food is unreal!! beach walk as-well from the hotel we have been climbing rocks on the right and finding lovely private little beaches with crystal clear water. Everything you need is near by, lots of trips to do and nights out in falaraki were fab! Food at the local taverna was also amazing. So good and wish we had booked for an extra week! would definitely recommend and will definitely come back!

    **⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Memorable Family Holiday!**From the moment we arrived, the staff at Kresten Palace Hotel made us feel like part of the family. Their warmth was **genuine, not forced**, and their willingness to go above and beyond was evident in every interaction. A special shout-out to **Margarita and Miranda in the restaurant**—their kindness and attentiveness made our meals feel personal and special.As someone with a **gluten allergy**, I was blown away by the care and attention we received. The **head chef took the time to walk me through gluten-free options** and even **created custom desserts** just for me. It’s rare to feel so safe and well-cared-for when dining out, and their effort meant the world to me. The **pool bar staff were equally amazing**, and I loved that their menu clearly **detailed allergens**— it made ordering so much easier. My only suggestion would be to **include allergen numbers next to each dish description in the restaurant menu** as well. This small change would make a huge difference for guests with allergies.Our group of **13** was made to feel incredibly welcome, and the **room was lovely**, with **cleaning and grounds staff who were just as friendly and helpful**. The **pool is stunning** with plenty of loungers and parasols, and the entertainment— led by a guy who **literally oozes enthusiasm and fun** (“wow wow wow!”)— was a highlight for all of us. We enjoyed **water Zumba with the kids**, **mini golf**, karaoke, fire show, and even explored the island by car and on foot. We did a boat ride to see wild dolphins which was a highlight.The hotel’s location made it easy to walk to the beaches, adding to the **serene and relaxing vibe** of our stay.This was a **wonderful holiday** for our family, age ranging from 8 to 83, and we all left feeling refreshed and happy. **Kresten Palace Hotel is a gem**— we can’t wait to return!

    You get what you pay for…just! . hotel is dated and desperately in need of a refresh, staff are attentive and pleasant and work as hard as I have seen ,hotel room floor is crawling with ants , limited TV channels food / price does not meet choice for half board and no drinks included upgrade to HB at hotel it is cheaper was quoted nearer £400 on email, cheaper if you book on arrival as price can fall to £240 Evening food is basic but I’ve had a lot worse elsewhere , come for the pool , it has a good little pool bar/ snack bar with good choice , or come for proximity to Rhodes, woken each morning at 5am by birds nest on the fire exit sign outside our room, sweet to see nesting chicks but 5am wake up for a week is brutal the hotel is just your bedroom, needs a fair bit of money spent to modernise it ….but if they did it would be fab, kids club is helpful but for under 4s parents have to stay, spa has decent choice of options , I would come back but id want to get a swim up pool room , Pros = PoolStaffSpace and grounds Pool bar/snack bar Negs =Dated Poor maintenance of estate Tiles crumblingPaint blistering / flaked and tiles broken/lifting in some communal areas Insects in roomSummary, = good hotel for pool/location to Rhodes / faliraki / lindos Food is ok but choice is limited , 4 x weekly themed food nights (Greek/italian/asian/american) Rooms are ok but need upgrades as some plugs are loose and insects have infested some rooms. This hotel could be really good with a bit of money spent , if it had I’d happily come back frequently
