  We stayed at Kiotari Miraluna Resort and overall I would rate it 5/5 for value for money. The hotel offers a lot for the price — several bars, friendly staff, good food with plenty of choice, and lots of entertainment for both adults and children.One of the highlights was definitely the pizza corner. The pizzas were freshly made in a stone oven and tasted amazing. There was also a gyros corner, although during our stay we never actually managed to get gyros there — it was always burgers instead. The burgers were decent, just nothing special. It was also great that bottled water was regularly added to the room.We also had one free visit to the à la carte restaurant included with our one-week stay. The food there was very good and it was a really nice addition to the holiday. I would say the restaurant is probably more suited for adults, as some of the flavours and dishes may not be ideal for younger children, although our daughter still enjoyed her meal. The only thing we had to pay extra for were the drinks.Another nice touch was the quieter bar that opened after 6 PM near the kids pool. It had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere compared to the main evening bar, which was usually crowded and loud. I would definitely suggest adding a few tables there, because currently there is nowhere comfortable to sit and it would be a perfect place to relax quietly in the evenings.The location is very nice if you like exploring Rhodes rather than spending the entire holiday inside the resort. The area is peaceful and quiet, which we really enjoyed.There were a few minor downsides. Sometimes the towels were taken during cleaning but not replaced with fresh ones, although this seemed to depend on who cleaned the room that day. The main pool was usually very crowded and loud, and it was difficult to find free sunbeds because many guests reserved them early in the morning. Because of that, we mostly used the kids pool area, which was much calmer and more relaxing.Parking could also be improved. There were not enough clearly marked parking spaces, and it was sometimes difficult to find a place for the car. We parked in an area where other cars were parked as well, but one day we received a note saying parking was not allowed there. It would help if restricted areas were marked more clearly.The all-inclusive drinks were unfortunately the weakest part of the hotel and definitely something that could be improved. Also, for mid-May, the resort felt surprisingly busy. Finding sunbeds near the sea was difficult because they were occupied all day. I think the hotel could easily add another row of loungers since there is still space on the rocky beach area that nobody really uses for sunbathing.Despite these small issues, we had a very good stay and would definitely come back again. Next time, though, I would prefer a room further away from the main pool because it can get quite noisy in the evenings.

  A Great Resort

  Just returned home after a great week at Kiotari Bay Resort. We arrived around 1am and expected maybe to have been left some water and a sandwich each in the room. To our surprise, the reception staff told us to come back down to the restaurant where they had a selection of the food from the nights dinner serving. It must have been Italian as it was spaghetti / pasta and meatballs etc., along with breads and salad. A really nice surprise and a great start. All the staff across the week were great and very helpful. The food across the week at breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. A ridiculously large selection of all kinds and something for everyone. If you couldn't find anything then maybe you need to have a word with yourself about being so fussy! 😉. The pizza / burger / gyros / donut offerings down by the pirate pool were great as an everyday snack. The only downside was that there was nothing like that by the main pool but not really a biggie. The resort map still shows a 'Geleteria' which it turns out doesn't exist any more. Unusual that there are no ice lollies / ice creams available as part of an all inclusive but again not a biggie. The drinks selection in the all inclusive is OK with the usual local beer and spirits included. You get access to the Spa on site for the gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi although treatments are extra. My wife had a treatment there and said it was lovely and well worth it.Check out was 11am and we weren't getting picked up until 6pm. You have to pay the usual €10 per hour to keep your room but that seems standard these days anywhere, but we were pleasantly surprised yet again to be told that even if we didnt extend the room, you still kept your band for the food and drink until you left and there are also showers you can use.There are a few areas that need a spruce up here and there but nothing that put us off. There are a few on site cats which are obviously feral but well kept and come for some food but as cat fans again no problem. The resort is a good hour or so from the airport without stops to drop other holidaymakers off, factor that in if you have kids to keep them amused on the journey after a 4.5 hour flight.We would certainly recommend the resort and if we go back to Rhodes, will be looking to return.   Really worth the money

  The location was good as was right on the beach with its own beach bar and sun loungers with a water sports centre on site which I would highly recommend going to however was a bit of a trek to rodos town (2 hours roughly on coach). The room was very spacious and the beds were comfy the only thing I would change is the shower as the holder was a broken but still worked on the lowest position but other than that never had a issue with the rooms, they get cleaned daily and restocked with bit bottles of water. Rooms come with a safe, fridge all the standard things . Our view from the balcony was good it overlooked two pools which lit up at night and was very peaceful. The food was excellent was always able to fill up my plate even had pizza and gyros in the afternoon which I would highly recommend to Try, we never had to Que or wait for food as they was always quickly restocked. We never experienced an issue with noise where we stayed. The hotel offered live music events every night from 9pm which was lovely. We also noticed that the hotel was a lot bigger than what we was expecting. Overall the value for the hotel was really good considering it’s an all inclusive hotel would definitely recommend.   Great holiday/hotel

  Just returned from a 10 day stay. The thing that really made our holiday amazing for both us and our children was the entertainment staff, especially Shyla, Xavier and Elhadji… these 3 went above and beyond to make sure us guests had the best holiday! Involved in kids club, mini disco and just general holiday entertainment. The hotel would not be the same without them.Our children loved the pirate splash pool. The hotel was spotless and clean, always keeping on top of it. We loved the mini arcade for the kids too!Thanks for a great holiday!
