  Warm welcoming family hotel close to old town and ports

  We used Lefka Hotel as a base in Rhodes to do island hopping from, as it was perfectly located for the old town and both Kolona and Mandraki Ports, all about an easy 10-15 min walk. We were so glad we chose this Hotel as the family who own the hotel were so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was freshly prepared from home made produce and delicious, served in their lovely garden courtyard. I can't recommend this hotel enough for both it's location and the warm welcome we were given each time we returned from one of our island trips.

  a nice reflection of the Aegean boarding house culture...

  The hotel is run by a very sweet family. which reminds me of the hostels on the Aegean coasts we went to as a family when I was a child. You can imagine a comfortable one with this sincerity level. If you are familiar with this feeling. +a pleasant table garden, a quiet and quite central neighborhood and a veteran turtle :)

  I honestly loved this hotel. The room was basic, but had everything we need and was very spacious. The shower was a little tricky but wasn’t a big issue. Can’t complain for the price too, it was so cheap!! The location is just a short 10/15 minute walk from the old town which was really great. The best thing about the hotel were its owners. They were so incredibly lovely and welcoming, and we felt really taken care of whilst we were there. If you’re looking for a simply hotel/apartment , I would 100% recommend this hotel. And they’ll make you breakfast in the morning!! Me and my friend had a lovely holiday at Lefka 😄

  Well situated, wonderful little oasis of a hotel

  First and foremost, I'd like to say that we had a clean, comfortable and utterly lovely 2 weeks stay at the Lefka. It's a handy little oasis for exploring Rhodes town - medieval city, useful shops and a beach only 2-5 mins walk away; also a gorgeous nicely priced restauraunt round the corner and bus stops for a trip to Lindos. It's very near an airport transfer drop off too. Theranos and Irina are wonderful hosts and you MUST get Irina to cook for you! The apartment had two nice sized rooms with air con. and comfy beds, a full fridge with large freezer box and oven in the kitchen, and a spacious wet-room bathroom with a decent shower. It's quiet. This can not be overstated enough in a bustling city, and the lemon tree covered courtyard at the centre, with its roaming tortoises, is a pleasant shady spot to sit in if you don't want to hang about in your room. It's only fair to mention that the 'free parking' is the street outside, but there was always a spot for our hire car, and it is downtown Rhodes, so it's little streets, overgrown with fruit trees and flowers, dotted with cats etc. You may not like it to look at, so I mention it, but it's no fault of the actual hotel. We loved it btw - being out of the way a tiny bit and away from touristiness! If you like exploring whilst on holiday (and Rhodes is definitely the place for it) then this is the ideal base for you.

  Little hidden gem

  Very comfortable rooms just outside Rhodes Old Town. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Lovely owners, comfortable and spacious rooms, beautiful patio/garden, home made breakfast. Ideal if you want to visit Rhodes Old Town. Walking distance and perfect to relax.
