    Far from luxury rooms. Only the Sea view is amazing and 5 stars to room cleaning service. Breakfast is not so bad, but tables are always dirty. And that's it... Very weak or no Wifi connection. The room is small and uncomfortable. Also note check in and check out times, because on booking confirmation email it is 12:00 and 15:00, but when you arrive to the hotel you'll see 11:00 and 14:00.Be careful when booking this hotel. Even you book and pay in advance you never know if you get your booked room on arrival (We were given the cheaper one for the first night). And this situation happens again and again. No excusses, no compensation. Worst experience I've ever had. Terrible hotel management. Local authorities should definetely pay attention to this hotel and take appropriate actions (I'll inform them accordingly). The first impression about Rhodes was really bad. Two days of vacation mood were ruined...

    Friendly staff, clean hotel and room, good prices, excellent location right on beach front, very close to the harbour with good Greek restuarants nearby. Short walk into town along beach front with several bars to stop off at. Will stay again.

    since we arrived we were told that we don't have a room that evening and that we will have to go to another hotel, although the whole stay was paid in full, their excuse being that we arrived too late considering that we bought the hotel tickets together with the plane tickets and with a direct transfer from the airport to the hotel, they are some scams I do not recommend this location at all the only thing we liked was the bar staff who are very friendly and funny, the prices seemed quite high to us considering that we came in September to get a gyros for 13.50 € and in the center you can find much better for 5 €, my recommendation would be to look for another hotel this is not worth your money and time , and the wi fi is terrible, is working just at the reception and on the terrace

    Deeply disappointed but it’s a lesson learned

    Please be very, very careful when considering booking this hotel. I read all of the reviews beforehand; hoping the low ones would not be my personal experience! Wow!!! I was very wrong! Most things documented in people’s negative reviews I experienced. The room had an abundance of hair on arrival I.e the floor, the drain smelled terrible in the bathroom, the shower pressure was poor, the toilet clogged twice, the power went out in the hotel, the bed was very hard, the balcony would not open and the towels smelled like a certain human fluid. One staff member, a dark haired woman was pleasant and breakfast was OK. However please believe others low rated reviews; the staff who appeared to be managers can be very abrupt and impolite. I am certain a staff member even insulted my partner in Greek when we asked for support with our stuck balcony door. This lead us to not approach staff again as well as leave early. When we did check out early, another gentleman (staying at the hotel) noticed this interaction. He shared with us his room had no electricity! I appreciate everyone’s experience is different at the hotel, but please, please consider whether Lido Star is for you from the reviews! Oh I should note the beach is beautiful! That’s an important point. It’s not part of Lido Star as we were abruptly told when we asked about the sun loungers. You have to pay €20 for two and an umbrella.

    Lovely bar and great food

    Popped to this bar on our last day and we wish we had found it sooner. Lovely staff amazing view good food and value for money. Only 4 euro for a local beer. meals were reasonable a gyros was £9 and huge. Staff made you feel welcome and were really friendly!
