  We're do i start .. arrived last weekend on arrival very impressive beautiful reception Pros .. lovley staff Food ok Pools clean Hotel clean Entertainment not bad Cons No air con Old dated grubby rooms Drinks diabolical Mosquito central Cracks in pool tiles Noise really bad especially at night

  Lovely place the views were outstanding. The bar staff were excellent down near the pool and the pool bar. Entertainment was really good lads and girls from africa great singers. The place needs a few touch ups with paint work,light fitting broken but all it all really enjoyed my trip with my mum

  Unfortunately, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never had to write a negative review like this before but this hotel has to be one of the worst we have stayed in. Positives - the staff are mostly lovely, housekeeping staff are always friendly, the pools are clean, there is lots of different pools and slides for children and the food has been alright mostly.Negatives - no air-conditioning (even though they advertised they do) the rooms were boiling and had no mosquito nets, we actually felt ill from the heat and there was no escaping it, the beds are rock solid and we have had horrendous back pain (bare in mind we are in our 20s so normally fine with our backs and have camped before and been more comfortable), the drinks are disgusting and we ended up spending way more money paying for drinks at the top bar or the shops just so that we could drink something that didn't taste like paint thinner or pure syrup, the tiles by the pool are a danger due to how slippy they are (I am on crutches and was terrified moving around the hotel areas as my crutches would slide underneath me), there is only one set of toilets by the main area and they stank and were often out of order (you also have to go downstairs to them so they aren't accessible, I also didn't see a single disabled toilet during our stay), the pool areas and bar stank of sewage and the sea water had obvious sewage in it, our room balcony glass had a huge crack going down it, we were given a room on the 2nd floor despite my being on crutches and one day the lift broke (they were dodgy the whole stay) so this wasn't safe if there had been a fire, the lifts are full of mosquitos (however I understand this is probably likely due to the weather), I am vegan and the hotel vegan options are chips/rice/salad (despite advertising as having plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, we also asked at reception and she assured us there would be plenty of food). Overall, it seems they have put all of their money into making the foyer look grand and 5*, but have decided to give 2*/3* service everywhere else. For the price this holiday cost, it has been very disappointing and I unfortunately do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh also - the entertainment, haven't really got anything to say on that as we avoided the bars in the evenings and went elsewhere for drinks due to the fact that the drinks were awful tasting.

  Firstly, there is no air conditioning until June 1st - huge red flag, and a policy the hotel management wouldn't budge on despite it being a family hotel full of young children. Quite ironic that the Lindos Grand (sister hotel next door) did have air conditioning despite both being "5-Star".Secondly, this hotel is nowhere near 5-Star. I'd give it a 3 at the absolute best. It's dilapidated, unclean, full of broken tiles, leaks, ants in the room... the list goes on.The Thematic Restaurants are a saving grace, if you do decide to stay here, make sure you get booked in to them - only issue is you don't get your free drinks included.As others have said, the pool area is constantly wet and the tiles don't have any grip, so make sure you and your children wear suitable footwear. There are no irons or ironing boards, the hotel provide a laundry service but do charge. The gym opens at 10am - I've never known a hotel gym open so late.We got a move to a suite from a swim up room - I wouldn't recommend a swim up room if with kids, they're small and very much on top of the rooms next to them.Entertainment stops at 22:30, it was ok but not great. We had to sleep with our balcony door open as the heat was unbearable, therefore it was noisy through the night. People in our party complained of noise from those on their balconies. Not much could be said about service, you had to go and ask for cutlery and coffee etc, just a bit of a waste of time them being there. Location is fine, 10 minute taxi from Lindos which was 15 Euros in a cab. Other than that, not much around other than a beach bar at the beach - this wasn't too bad, but not affiliated with the hotel.Hope we read the reviews before booking, its really poor and should not be allowed to advertise as 5-Stars. We saw so many people complaining and asking to leave the hotel, that should not be happening.To the management, do better rather than fleecing your guests for the sake of not turning the air conditioning on a few days earlier.

  3 start hotel maximumNO air-con..... hot like he'llFood basicNo presentationNo decorationDrinks on the bar coming from a machine....very bad tasteBeds and mattresses will give you back painFloor slippery around swimming pools....people kept falling Entertainment is for 1.5 hours in the evening and it's awful Animation team should find another job.... they are on their phone....ridiculous All the staff talk about how cheap is the owners. ... and I believe them... no air-con, no flowers anywhere, no paintings.....like a prison The only good thing is the people working there.... they are niceShould be reported for advertising as 5 star
