    Wonderful hotel

    rating27 May 2026

Myself and my husband came for a stay in May 2026 to celebrate my husbands birthday. I emailed ahead and asked for a double bed rather than singles if possible, and a higher room with a sunny balcony. Never hurts to ask!On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to a fabulous, large room, on the top floor, with a very sunny balcony. They had pushed the beds together and added a king size mattress topper to make an extremely comfortable big bed for us. They also left a bottle of wine and glasses, along with a note, wishing my husband happy birthday. The room was immaculately clean, very spacious with tons of storage. It had a lovely view of the acropolis, the sea, the pool and the mountains. Amazing. The large shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There was a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, and a free safe and air conditioning. The hotel itself is just above Lindos, about a 10 minute walk into the centre. There's also 2 supermarkets about 2 minutes walk from the hotel along the main road. The grounds of the hotel are well kept, and the staff are constantly walking around, making sure all is ok with a smile. The hotel is half board, and generally I have found food in half board hotels to be a bit hit and miss. We booked this as the hotel looked lovely and was a similar price to other local hotels that were offering B&B only, so felt that if the food wasn't great we could eat out without any financial loss. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was! The breakfast was varied and plentiful, with lots of choice, including hot foods, pastries, fruits, cereals, and continental offerings . along with tea, coffee and fruit juices . The evening menu was also buffet style and offered a variety of fish and meats, vegetables, salads, breads, and desserts. My husband has coeliacs disease and the two lovely chefs made such an effort every day to take him round the buffet to show him what he could and couldn't eat (he could eat most of the buffet) and also offered to make him some gluten free bread, pasta and dessert - he didn't need these as there was already so much on offer that he could eat. The wait staff were all so friendly too, and very efficient. There was rarely any plates left on tables for more than a minute after a party left the dining room. The tables were nicely spread out with a choice to eat inside or on the balcony overlooking Lindos.Lindos itself is a lovely little town, so unique but very busy! we mostly went down in the evenings after tea, once some of the coaches had left. But although it was busy, the shop and bar owners were friendly and kind to all who walked by we found. We walked up the acropolis one of the days, it is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit, if only for the views. And lastly, the cats. So many cats. But not unkempt cats with kittens running round, these were confident adult cats, that were clearly looked after by the locals. There were food and water in corners, cushions on walls, and the cats clearly have made the town their home. The locals seem happy to have them there. As a cat lover, it was wonderful. We had such a lovely time, thank you Lindos view for making our stay so special. We would not hesitate in recommending your hotel, and the town of Lindos, and we would love to return. Lindos View is paradise!

    rating20 May 2026

Another amazing stay at Lindos View. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and we will keep coming back - in fact while staying we have booked to come back again next year! The hotel itself is in a perfect location, it is easy to get into Lindos town & if you’re wanting to visit other places the bus stop is just a short walk away. The beautiful panoramic view of Lindos the hotel offers when you’re having breakfast and dinner is just perfect too. The rooms are clean, modern, full of light and well equipped with everything you need - if you ever need something the friendly reception team will always go out of their way to lend a hand too. All the staff are so kind we would like to thank everyone for a great time. The hotel also organises a karaoke on a Thursday night and Greek dancing on a Monday night - we unfortunately missed the karaoke night but we took part in the Greek dancing. It was well organised and really good fun to join in. The waitress girls at breakfast and dinner are lovely and it made us feel very welcome as they remembered us from when we visited last year! We also wanted to give a special mention to Denis the head chef as he always goes above and beyond for my daughter who has a nut allergy.Denis was always very kind, professional and would help make her feel safe when choosing food for dinner. Thank you Denis, you made the stay even more special! Overall, our 2 week stay was just not long enough at Lindos View, we didn’t want to leave! But we will see you all next year when we come and visit you again. Thank you very much. Stunning boutique hotel

    rating04 Apr 2026

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. It was a stunning boutique hotel. The Greek design was fabulous. I don't think I could find another hotel of this standard for the same price. The service was excellent. Food was great although desserts were limited I definitely didn't go hungry.I always make a point of trying a new destination every trip but this is one hotel I would like to return to. The cab driver told me it had the best views of the castle and Lindos. He wasn't wrong. It looked awesome lit up at night. It is however a VERY steep walk downhill to Lindos town. But its only 10 minutes away. Taxis are everywhere if don't fancy the trek up. Yannis Profilienos, General Manager at Lindos View Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience with us.We are truly delighted to hear that you loved your stay and appreciated the boutique style and Greek design of the hotel. Your kind words about our service and the value we offer mean a lot to our entire team. We’re also very happy that you enjoyed the food and felt well taken care of during your stay. Your comment about the desserts is noted, and we will certainly consider adding more variety in the future. It’s especially rewarding to know that, despite your love for exploring new destinations, you would choose to return to our hotel — that is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. We couldn’t agree more about the views; Lindos and the castle truly create a magical setting, especially when illuminated at night.Regarding the walk to the village, thank you for highlighting this for future guests. While the route is indeed steep, many guests enjoy the short distance and the availability of taxis as a convenient alternative. We truly hope to welcome you back again in the future.Regards,Yannis ProfilienosManagerLindos View Hotel

    Nice hotel, perfectly situated.

    rating16 Nov 2025

Had a week at this hotel and really enjoyed it. Rooms were large and clean. Bathroom had a bath and shower so nice to have the option. Grounds and pools were spotless. We only stopped bed and breakfast, breakfast was good, plenty of choice and hot. Snacks from the pool bar were very good. We did pay one night to have the evening buffet meal but we wasn't impressed. Not much choice and luke warm, it was later on in the evening but for the price you should be able to turn up later rather than arrive the second the restaurant opens to be guaranteed a hot meal. Location of the hotel is great, small supermarket and bus stops a two minute stroll away. The hotel is equidistant from Lindos village itself. Turn left out of the hotel and you can walk down to the square and main beach, turn right and you arrive at the opposite end of the village and St. Pauls Bay. All in all a nice holiday, only thing we'd change is to not leave it so late in October to visit. We had a few heavy showers and in Lindos village some of the bars and shops have already closed for the season, the hotel was fully functioning though. Yannis Profilienos, General Manager at Lindos View Hotel, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your week with us — especially the cleanliness of our rooms, the comfort of the bathroom, and the relaxing pool and garden areas. It’s also wonderful to know you appreciated our breakfast offerings and pool bar service. We’re sorry to hear that the evening buffet didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback regarding the temperature and variety is truly valuable, and we’ll certainly use it to improve the dining experience for future guests. It’s great to know our location worked well for your plans, offering easy access to both the main beach and St. Paul’s Bay. Lindos is indeed charming in every season, though we understand your point about late October. We’d love to welcome you back — perhaps a little earlier in the season next time — for another relaxing stay.Kind regards,Yannis ProfilienosManagerLindos View Hotel
