  Amazing hospitality!

  Both my elderly father and myself have just returned from Maria's apartments and can only say what a fantastic break it was. Maria, Nicky Melonaos & Kiki are just so warm and welcoming and made us feel like family the whole way through our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for them The apartments are large and comfortable and the air con is amazing. We were lucky as we had sea views and the sea is literally a 2 minute walk. Haraki itself is quiet and peaceful, just like going back in time to Greece a long time ago. There are a few bars/tavernas along the front all overlooking the sea and each one served delicious food. Our favourite was Bottoms up, lovely food and peaceful. All the staff very welcoming. I was very tearful when we said goodbye yesterday especially as all Maria's family waved us off with the warmest well wishes.. We most definitely will be back.

  Lovely apartments, run by an equally lovely family. Nice touches bottled water and watermelon left in fridge on arrival, also complimentary toiletries in bathroom. Room cleaned bedding and towels changed every three days. Very close to beach and local restaurants. Booked again for 2025

  Me and my husband stayed here early August, after a lucky last minute find and we were not disappointed. The apartments are situated around 2 minutes away from the beach and the main strip and around 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket, which is great! The rooms are basic but spacious and extremely clean, fresh linen and towels every other day, rooms cleaned everyday (except Sunday). Items such as irons, kettle and hairdryers are included in the room as well. A nice little extra we were not expecting was the fresh melons and grapes in the fridge and the sachets of coffee, tea bags, milk, sugar and small cookies! Thank you for them! Previous reviews have complained about the view from their balcony, and its true that not all balconies have a sea view, but as the apartments are located so close to the sea, it wasn't an issue, and to be honest, we really welcomed the shade! The service is second to none, The staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The apartment offered everything we needed and was well worth the stay, we enjoyed it so much we intend on returning to Maria! Definitely recommend.

  What a great relaxing three holiday at this self catering accommodation. It was a pleasure meeting Menelaos and his helpful and friendly family, nothing was to much trouble.The apartment was perfectly positioned a stones throw from the beach and all eating venues. Our rooms were cleaned and the bins empty every day apart from Sunday even providing clean towels. The bedding was changed every two/three days.The cleaning lady Valeria was thorough with her job and left our apartment spotless.We are really looking forward to our return .

  Warm September tranquility

  We fell in love with tucked-away Haraki (Charaki) on a previous visit to Rhodes and delighted in staying for a week in this lovely quiet little bay. Maria studios are run by Menelaus and Kiki, who are the loveliest, friendliest couple you could hope to meet. They added to the relaxed atmosphere of our holiday, not only with help and information, but more importantly by being naturally warm and friendly people who clearly had our best interests in mind.The building is not directly next to the seafront, but a couple of buildings back. However, the beach is about 20 metres away, with at least two supermarkets and numerous restaurants very close by.Our particular studio accommodation was cosy and quiet, with shower room and a small balcony with a view of the sea to the south. Like most of the rooms, there are stairs.The accommodation was perfect for our self-catering diving holiday (Lepia Diving, in Pefkos). We generally only ate breakfast in our room, but all basic needs were catered for: a small kitchen area with fridge, hot-plate, crockery and cutlery. The room was well-cleaned daily and towels changed. Great air con, good Wifi, hairdryer and iron. Hot water was a little hit and miss (solar heating) but in the heat a tepid shower was mostly welcome!Late September was quieter, but the weather was still hot and the sea mostly like a warm bath. This village is perfect to avoid the hustle elsewhere, though we'd recommend a hire car (we can recommend George cars in Rhodes). There is plenty of parking.Overall, this place fulfilled all our needs completely, representing excellent value for money and contributing to a wonderful holiday.Highly recommended; we will return!
