  High quality holiday

  Our stay at the Villas Resort was truly memorable and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high quality holiday. One of the aspects that struck us most was the kindness of the staff, always available and ready to satisfy our every need with a smile. A special thank you goes to Nicolò: his friendliness and professionalism were fundamental in helping us overcome the small mix-up of the suitcase forgotten at the airport.The food was excellent, with a variety of dishes that satisfied every palate, from starters to desserts. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every course, making each meal an unforgettable dining experience.The rooms were spotless and well appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. It was really pleasant to return every evening to such a well-kept room.The sea was splendid, with crystal clear waters that invited you to take long swims and enjoy the sun. However, we must point out the presence of too much dust in the avenue leading to the beach, a small inconvenience that could be improved.Another small sore point was the bar in the square, which did not entirely meet our expectations. But as they say, you can't have everything and this little detail didn't detract from the beauty of our stay in the slightest.Ultimately, we will certainly return to the Villas Resort, taking with us the memory of an extraordinary holiday and the certainty of once again finding impeccable service and a warm welcome.   I just visted and hate at the Villas Resort restsurant in Castidad and I must say the food is excelent. They have personalable service, great selections and all the meals that my wife, kids amd I had were delicious. To top it off the restaurant was situated by the pool side with music. I would defenitely recommend eating here when visiting Sardinia.   Extremely Disappointed

  We have traveled and stayed all over Sardinia for the last 10 years. This is by far the most disappointing and frustrating experience I have ever had on this beautiful and special island. The resort itself may, at one point been 4 star quality; however, it no longer is. The rooms and all of the facilities are in very bad need of updating and repair. When we checked in, it was 44 degrees Celsius and we were given a room with a broken air conditioning. We elected to upgrade and pay $100 more a night. Despite knowing the AC was broken, the hotel attempted to give the same room with a broken AC and ants infesting the room, to our friends. They refused to acknowledge this was a problem or help find a solution. This dominated an entire 1+ day of our 6 day stay. The front desk staff regularly engaged in arguing with us and other guests and the manager refused to deal with anything. Another huge issue is that the guests are a captive in the resort as there are no taxis serving the hotel and the closest shop or restaurant is a 25+ min walk down a busy highway. The restaurant is a sauna and the food barely edible. Everything you do is an extra charge, so in the end, it is better to stay at a hotel of higher quality and a bit higher room rate. The beach is extremely crowded and not super nice. There are so many beautiful beaches in Sardinia, it was hard to imagine a hotel where we paid over $500/night would have a subpar beach that was not even visible from the hotel. I would really encourage you to avoid this hotel until it is updated or there is new management. My family loves Sardinia but we were extremely embarrassed to have organized a trip to this spot with friends. There were some staff members who were friendly (the cleaning crew was the best part of the stay) but it was hard appreciate when you were always hot, tired and hungry. And there is no Wi-Fi 😬

  Holiday in Sardinia

  We stayed there for a week in the Hotel and had a really nice time. The weather was perfect, the staff were so friendly. They have a smile for everyone and are very helpful. I have to mention Marianna Angius and Antonio especially. They were mega friendly in the restaurant and it was a real pleasure to be there. Also they have a shuttle to the beach that runs the whole day, even though the beach is only 500 metres away. 😊 So if you are feeling a bit lazy....... Also I spent some time in the Gym. Good equipment and well kept. The rooms are in a good condition, modern and clean and it had a good AC. Thanks to the Hotel. It is especially great if you want peace and quiet and we would recommend it.

  The only friendly and helpul staff was Bruno, from the front desk. All the other staff members from the front desk are in wrong line of work. The beach and restaurant staff were friendly. Things change really quick artound here. What you talk with the staff in the evening, is no longer available in the morning, or it is available at a higher price. We were offered a late check out in the evening, because we had a bad experience with a boat trip we booked from the reception(we lost €140), and in the morning, Gabriella from the front desk, requested €100 per room for the late check out 😳The room was never vacuumed. The sand we brought from the beach was all over the place.
