Exceeded expectations for a relaxing stay.

    rating30 May 2026

Just back from a week's stay at the Olympia that has really exceeded our expectations. Travelled with Tui. Arrived around midnight on the Saturday night to an efficient check in process with the added bonus of sandwiches and fruit given to us as we had missed dinner! As previous reviewers have stated Tui customers are in the main building. We were on the third floor in room 409 overlooking the pool and gardens with a sea view on the horizon. The room was really big! Room for a double bed and a sofa with room to spare! Generous balcony. The bathroom was a modern wet room with huge cloud shower - plenty of hot water. Slept really well here, comfortable bed and really quiet. There were no problems getting sunbeds the week we were here, no sun bed wars! People came and went throughout the day with a few reserving by the pool where there were umbrellas. But there was plenty of beds in the pretty gardens behind the pool. The hotel had a mix of European guests - Scandi, Poles, Germans and a small number of Brits. Mostly mature couples initially then a few younger guests as the week went on. A small number of families with children which was surprising given it was UK school holidays.Food was very good for AI at a three star level. Breakfast had continental plus a wide selection of hot buffet items and pastries. Apples, pears and bananas. Fried eggs and omlettes on consecutive days. Some days pancakes some waffles. Lunch buffet good. Many people used the snack bar which is open from 11am to 6pm with all the standard fast food. Dinner was also good with different daily specials, a grill, rice, salads, potatoes and vegetables (red cabbage, okra!). It didn't feel repetitive. Ice cream was available at meal times, scoop your own. Drinks are all local, including the soft drinks which you could self serve in the snack bar. Local wine was very drinkable! Of a night the main restaurant outdoor seating doubles as the bar seating which had the potential to cause problems if people stayed but we got a table every night without much issue. There is a separate snack bar seating area which doubles as the entertainment area with a small stage. There was singing/dancing every other night of our stay. Finished well before the bar shut so didn't cause noise problems if you are trying to sleep.Small shop in the block next door - path from the pool. The hotel is located at the far end of Faliraki, Kalithea beach, about 1.8km from bar street. It is walkable, flat with pavement. This was my main run route too, no beach promenade or pathway. The beach is a short walk from the hotel - turn left at the end of the drive, right at the main road then first left. Sandy beach with sunbeds (payable 20euros for 2) and a couple of restaurants. This hotel delivered in everything we needed it to; it was quiet (no animation team harassing you, no activities, no loud music, just tasteful piano jazz in the bar/restaurant), efficient and relaxing. We found it a restful experience. I believe it may still have been early in the season so the character may change over the season. Good value and quality for the rating and price point. All of the staff we interacted with were cheerful and helpful too! Hats off to the cleaner who made pyjama tops out of the small towels!!

5/5. We emailed the hotel a month in advance to inform them that we would be arriving around midnight, providing our name, arrival date, and confirmation reservation. To our delight, when we checked in, the front desk staff had prepared a sandwich and a pear for each of us, which was very helpful since we were quite hungry. Additionally, the front desk had a bulletin board displaying the WiFi details and daily activities, making it easy for us to take a picture for reference. Afterward, the staff personally escorted us to our room to ensure we wouldn't get lost, pointing out where we could find our meals and the pool along the way. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating; particularly, the front desk staff arranged taxis for us to reach our desired destinations, and they coordinated with maintenance and housekeeping as needed. The hotel's location was ideal, within short walking distance of both the beach and the town, and it was pleasantly quiet throughout our stay.

    The best holidays

I really don’t understand where all the negative reviews are coming from. The hotel was very clean — we saw the cleaning staff several times a day. Our room was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the mountains and the hotel pool. As soon as we walked in, it smelled fresh and clean. It was cleaned daily, and the towels were replaced as often as we wanted (all we had to do was put them in the sink — as explained in the bathroom notice). The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and varied. Honestly, everyone could always find something they liked. There were fresh and dried fruits, ice cream, and for breakfast a wide selection of yogurts. The snack bar offered different kinds of snacks every day, and the bar served delicious drinks, beer, and soft drinks. And finally, the best part — the staff. We have never met such wonderful people anywhere (and we’ve traveled to many countries). They were always smiling, helpful, and kind. We could go on and on about how great they were.Special recognition goes to the gentlemens at the bar — they always greeted us in our native language and took the time to chat with us. Such great people!Of course, there’s always something that could be improved. But if someone expects ten kinds of cakes, meats, or eggs, an endless list of drinks- then I suggest choosing a 5-star hotel instead of one with a lower rating, and not complaining afterward that everything was bad. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday and a pleasant atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting. Everything is nearby — only a 5-minute walk to the sea, about 10 minutes to the center of Faliraki, and bus stops to Rhodes or Lindos are close by. I wouldn’t change a thing about my vacation here.

All in all great experience for a short stay!

    rating16 Sept 2025

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 6 days and it exceeded our expectations!!! The staff were friendly and accommodating and every day there was events on (kareoke/ trips/ zumba in the pool) that you could choose to partake in which created such a fun environment. The rooms were spacious and clean and the air con was a life saver. The only thing to note is in a double room it is two single beds pushed together - but that was manageable. The beach and strip of cafes/ restaurants is a short walk away and the location is beautiful with hills and terrain surrounding it. Shout out to Nikos the bartender who poured very generous amounts! Icon behaviour. The all inclusive deal was very worth it with a selection of lovely meals both meat and vegetarian. Lovely stay and atmosphere with a great selection of amenities. Would recommend
