    Palm Bay is the bizz.

    rating23 May 2026

Can any Hotel live up to the reviews?? In the case of the Palm Bay Hotel Pefkos it absolutely can! from the early hours welcome from George and his family and the team, keeping the Mini Market open until the wee small hours so arrivals could stock up on water and essentials to the team in the Bar and Restaurant (Mike & Maria step forward and take a bow with your team), to the maintenance and Housekeeping team every question or query is met with a smile and the information you are looking for. On arrival checkin was handled like a well oiled machine 30 guests welcomed and checked in and all done in under 10 minutes and off to our booked rooms (those on the hill needn't worry, George or Micheal are standing by with a buggy to whisk you and you cases to the lifts.) The rooms are modern (the Palm Bay has very recently been refurbished), spacious and very clean, with a large enough bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with a good sized ice compartment. The balconies are nice and roomy with table and chairs and a drying rack. we went for a supierior room and where upgraded to a sea view and what a view. The soundproofing on the rooms is great and the only noise we heard was Blue rock thrush singing it's heart out on a couple of mornings. The hotel bar and restaurant has a menu that covers all wants and is really well presented and cooked, alternate nights there is live music, and when there isn't there is a quiz or bingo to keep you busy. if your after a snack/meal and drink during the day head down to the beach bar and see Andreas he'll sort you out. All areas of the hotel are accesible by lift and ramps. Pefkos village with its bars restaurants and shops can be found a 10 minute walk away, Lindos can be reached by taxi for about €12 and plenty of opportunities by coach or car to Rhodes town which is about 55 mins away by car, and Lardos can be walked to in about 30mins but in the heat take a bus or taxi. And on the day we left, George and the team turned out to see us off.All in all a great place to stay in a fantastic location.

Believe the reviews, it’s a great hotel.

    rating19 May 2026

We are just back from two weeks at Palm Bay, we went after reading all the great reviews and took them with a pinch of salt, turns out they’re all spot on.The moment you arrive (late in the evening, thanks Jet2 ;) ) the staff make you feel very welcome, big crowd checking in but processed quickly, George (the owner) gave a speech giving us all a run down, the shop stayed open so we could get some water, crisps and wine, then golf buggy lift to our room. We had room 403, pool swim up room but no view, really was really nice, very clean and loads of space with 2 very comfortable loungers next to the pool, towels and rooms cleaned every 2 days and bins emptied every day, cannot fault the room, it’s features or how clean it was.The pool area wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, it was very early in the season and there had been a big storm a few days before arrival, but new areas have been added with an extra pool on the rooftop with extra beds. Around the pool it was always busy but you could always get beds, there are staff walking around taking drinks orders all day and the bar was just inside. Pool was a bit cold but warmed up as the holiday went along. The beach bar is a lovely spot to grab a large beer and a gyro, although on our last day we had a chicken baguette and wished we found it before, Andreas at the bar always attentive and staff all on the ball, you can now pay by card at it.Evening entertainment is excellent and stafflook after everyone really well, Greek night on the Tuesday is not to be missed, need to book a table, it’s €30pp but you get your food and wine included, great night. The supremes night is another great night, singers are excellent and worth going to, this is free entry. Overall the main restaurant is excellent, when we arrived it was à la carte breakfast but a few days later the rear restaurant started the buffet breakfast with lovely sea views.Pefkos is just 400m away with a huge choice of cracking restaurants if you fancy a change, there is now a new footpath to it and to Lardos village a mile in the other direction, the road splitting the two sides of the resort is quiet enough and there’s a bus top right outside if you fancy a trip to Rhodes town.I took a car for 2 days, fiat panda, Renee in reception organised it and it cost €30 a day all in, worth it to see the island and Rhodes is a gift to drive on compared to other Greek islands. When talking to other guests you start hearing how they’ve been coming back, year after year, and it’s easy to see why, such a warm welcome from ALL the staff, great modern rooms and cracking location. When we left Gearge and his daughter came out to thank us individually and give us a bottle of water for the transfer, I’ve never had that before.Without a doubt we will be returning, and I will look forward to that day.Thank you everyone at Palm Bay Hotel.

    Fabulous week in Pefkos

    rating18 May 2026

Just returned from 7 fabulous days in Pefkos staying at the Palm Bay hotel. We had a fabulous warm welcome from the reception staff Rene was lovely and George was a very happy man. We had a lovely room which was bright and spacious and it had a sea view in the distance, the view was slightly tainted by the building rubble to our left but we could ignore that. We also had a shared pool which ran the length of the apartments. My only criticism would be that the balcony was VERY close to apartments next to you on either side. The hotel had a fabulous pool area and you could generally get a bed although we did notice that they hotel had a policy that beds should not be reserved by placing towels on beds, which the residents definitely didn’t take any notice of! The beach was nice with sunbeds at a charge of €20 euros for 2 beds parasol and 2 small bottles of water! The beach bar served lovely food at lunchtimes. Breakfast was also pleasant with a choice of hot and cold. All in all a great stay with just two small niggles. The WiFi is definitely NOT speedy and also we were given a welcome pack of 2 teabags, 2 coffee pods and 4 sugar sachets, once they were gone you had to buy your own. I fully get that if I was staying in an apartment but we were staying in a hotel, even Premier inns refill your tea and coffee when they run out! Just a little thing but I found it quite odd!

    Beautiful hotel and lovely family/staff

    rating12 May 2026

The location is perfect for relaxing. A short walk provides many restaurants and bars. The hotel was one of the best that we have stayed in, providing immaculate accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety although we stayed with the Greek breakfast. On arrival we were greeted by the family which was unexpected as was the early hours of the morning. Thank you for your hospitality 😊 x The atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. We knew that there was ongoing work being completed but noise was limited. Will definitely return and recommend to others
