  The good & positive firstThe rooms were lovelyGreat locationGreat poolRuby the cleaner was greatOn the whole most said they would stay again if there was a good deal. Now the negativesSockets in one of the rooms didn’t workVarious TV’s didn’t work or weren’t tuned inThe lock on one of our rooms was off and had to change roomsShower overhead didn’t work in one roomLots of snagging needed almost like there’s quite a few things still to be sorted.Pool bar was very basic the food was too basic, no cocktails, no hot drinks available. The step up to the bar is an accident waiting to happen eek! 😱The pool toilets were a complete no go, very dirty and hooks for locks There’s no welcome reception… or instructions. One of our friends was dropped at 3am at top road hadn’t a clue where to go, no instructions left or signs. One room had a leak coming through from above, I had what looked like a major crack in the ceiling in the bedroom. Air con in one room didn’t work even after reporting.

  We have just returned from our 1 week stay at Pals I think it’s fair to say we won’t be staying again.Our main issue was Malfunctioning air conditioning.The staff seemed to be dis engagedEmergency contact number didn’t work no answer on several calls No Reception I have been to pefkos over the last 30 years and this place is the worst place I have been for the upkeep of the building and the attitude towards the customer.

  Vero beautiful location and building. Clean and useful equipments. Hosts Tony and Sarah are vey kind. It is next to Very paceful quote beaches in Pefkos: saint thomas , plakia and lee beach. I advise this place, next to supermarkets bars and restaurants.

  Arrived on the 12th of October at 3pm after filling out the pre arrival information expecting to find some sort of room or person to meet us to check in. Wrong there is nothing at this place just a stairwell that’s not seen a mop since last year or longer and some glass double doors that look like they could of been a reception once upon a time but has long been locked up.Decided to walk round to the pool, which on face of it looks pretty impressive to a ex burger van chuck wagon now utilised as the pool bar and snack house.The guy there just said go back to the stairwell and someone will meet you.This did occur and we were shown room 105 on the 2nd floor by who I guess was the blind cleaner.The room consisted of two single beds a wardrobe, kettle, Coffee Pod, fridge and a bathroom which appeared to have not been cleaned with any care for a fair time, there was also no catering facility in the room meaning that it is really only room only and not a studio kitchenette as booked or advertised.Now we are not being precious about this as we have travelled in Greece in many self catering apartments for many years and know that often they are basic and this we embrace. However the one thing you generally get is a warm welcome and a clean accommodation, as I said this gaff you get neither.Rather than continue to write a novel on this the list below is pretty much what you are going to get for your shilling.1. No check-in process or instruction or viable communication.2. No equipment in the apartment to enable any type of self catering option apart from a cuppa coffee.3. No Internet in room and know one to communicate the passwords. Round the pool it did work as this was a different WIFI for the pool area.4. Place was a disgrace and cleaning non existent. 5. Fire Escape information for a different premises WTF.6. Two sheets of OSB for doors for the pool toilets.My initial thoughts were to not write a review after leaving the next day but due to the lack of any communication from the owners after advising them that we were checking out of this place I thought why not as they simply don't give a monkeys.Do not waste your money on this place unless they get there act together quickly, we spent £400 for the week here and ended up booking in to somewhere else for £300 next to Lee beach after a day.Don't take any notice of the web site the pool looks lovely but if they cant be bothered to mop a floor what must the water quality be like?… Just Saying.I hope the owners can be bothered to respond to this as to date they have not responded to anything to date.

  Just returned from a lovely stay in pefkos at pals studios We booked via their website and once you log in all the information about the accommodation and resort is on your personal dashboard. Pals is perfectly placed on St Thomas beach road, the beach is minutes away. There are many bars and restaurants nearby.Our room was on the first floor consisting of twin beds, bathroom, self catering facilities, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. There is also a flat screen tv but we could only view Greek channels. The shower was spacious and powerful.Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. There was also a welcome pack of shampoo and shower gel should you need it for your first day.The pool is excellent. Plenty of quality sun beds and the poolside snack bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. The main asset was Sarah, such a lovely chatty lady who makes the best bacon & egg brioche buns!All things considered we had a very good experience and would recommend Pals to others
