  An unforgettable 10th anniversary stay – our search is finally over!We are currently staying at Porto Angeli and everything has exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we noticed how incredibly organized, flawless, and well-managed this resort is. A great example of their top-notch service was right at check-in: you are taken directly to your room in a golf cart with your luggage. After a long and tiring journey, not having to wander around the resort to find your room like in other hotels is a massive plus.This is actually our fourth time visiting the beautiful island of Rhodes, but every previous time we stayed in different places because none of them made us want to return. Now, it feels like our search is finally over. We have found exactly what we needed for a truly relaxing vacation where everything around us is perfect. Even if I wanted to be negative, there is absolutely nothing to complain about regarding this hotel.We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary here, and the hotel made it truly magical. Following a request we sent before arrival, we were greeted in our room with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a lovely congratulatory card. It was such a thoughtful, attentive gesture that showed they genuinely care about their guests.Our room is superb, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The entire staff is professional, friendly, well-trained, and always ready to help with a smile. The resort's infrastructure is also amazing, offering a fantastic variety of outdoor activities. If you have children, this place is a paradise; there are so many dedicated areas and fun spaces for kids that it is impossible for them to get bored, giving parents a perfect chance to relax.When it comes to food, everything is delicious and fresh, but the desserts and sweets deserve a special mention—they are absolutely excellent and a highlight of every meal! Another huge plus for us is the beach organization: having private sunbeds on the beach included (no extra charge) with high-quality, very comfortable loungers made our relaxation time perfect.Porto Angeli has truly stolen our hearts.   Don’t Stay Here if You’re Used to 5⭐ Hotels or Are Vegetarian

  We stayed 10–13 Oct 2025, and the experience was far below 5-star standards. The room had mould, leaks, and damaged walls, and instead of an extra-large double bed, there were two single beds pushed together with a gap in between. The “private pool” was shaded and freezing, not as advertised. The room service burger was raw, food quality was poor, and there were almost no vegetarian options. Nothing was clearly labelled or listed with ingredients, so it was unclear what could safely be eaten.After dinner on the second day, I asked to check out early and be refunded for the last two nights, but reception said refunds could only be confirmed later by email, so we were forced to stay. Booking.com later asked the hotel to issue a refund, but they refused.A maintenance worker entered our pool/terrace area while we were sitting there in our robes at sunrise, refused to leave even after we politely asked (in English, Greek, and Italian), and stood there cleaning the pool while we tried to enjoy our morning privately. The “Adults Only” listing is misleading — the resort is full of children.The hotel’s written response was rude and dismissive, accusing me of seeking compensation, when all I had asked for was to leave after the first night due to the poor conditions and for a refund of the nights I had to stay. This is not a true 5-star hotel and was a huge disappointment. If you are used to genuine 5-star hotels, you’ll be very disappointed staying here.

  Adult only suite is fabulous!

  We spent 2 weeks in room 814, an adults only suite and it was simply heaven. Arrival - There was a friendly greeting when we arrived. Two ladies on reception welcomed us and explained the hotel to us in detail. A buggy then took us straight to our room. The following day we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and platter of fruit, which was very thoughtful. Room - I can only share my experience of the adults only room but it was perfect. We had a lounge area with extra space and storage. A comfortable bedroom and an open bathroom. The private pool is the largest I’ve seen of a private pool. The sun would rise across from the pool and the sun stayed until 4pm but 1pm on the patio. Not having to worry about sunbed wars made our stay very relaxing. We had a lovely view and it was fairly quiet, some evenings we could hear the entertainment but it didn’t ruin our stay. Staff - You can’t walk around the hotel without someone saying hello and greeting you with a smile. The staff work very hard! Alexia on reception organised a floating breakfast for my mum’s birthday, she helped with other enquiries too. Flora in the main buffet restaurant looked after us every evening, ensuring we were always ok in the glass room. Maria welcomed us every morning, in the adults only breakfast, she remembered our ordered too. The cleaners work very hard and are always polite, checking if there is anything extra they can do. Food - the Greek taverna is excellent! I would recommend visiting here on your stay. The adults only breakfast was relaxing every day and there was always a great choice, including a variety of fresh eggs being cooked. The main buffet restaurant had a selection of salads, hot foods and desserts. There was a theme most evenings. Some people have said the food was cold but I never found this to be the case. Beach - the beach is across the road and there are sunbeds for hotel guests which is great! Some people do reserve beds early but we always found beds, even in the afternoon. We were pleased to see hotel staff removing towels at 10am if people didn’t arrive for them. Location - Stegna is located down a steep hill. It has bars and restaurants, plus car hire companies. There is one bus a day to Rhodes town but you can’t really explore the island unless you hire a car, extreme cars were very helpful and I didn’t have an issue driving in Rhodes.   The room with the private pool was perfect, but the water in the pool was really cold. Food was good, but entertainment in the evening was bad and a lot of entertainment was in germany.. On the night of the German show, we also offer an alternative performance for English speakers at the Nautilus Bar, ensuring that everyone has enjoyable options.We strive to create a fun atmosphere for all our younger guests, which is why our mini discos alternate between English and German — one day in English, the next in German. Additionally, all our sports activities are available in both languages to cater to our diverse audience.As for the cold buffet, we understand that waiting for warm food can be challenging.   I recently stayed at Porto Angeli with my daughter and her friend. We had a room with a private pool in the 18+ area. The room was very spacious and very well equipped and the pool was a really lovely size with a big patio area and an amazing view. The rooms are very quiet as there aren't rooms above, so no scraping of furniture to be heard at all hours of the day/night which is fantastic.The hotel is very beautifully presented with lovely furniture throughout. The staff are absolutely amazing, very helpful, super polite and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. Huge thanks and big shout outs to Tony/Savva at the Pool Bar/Nightclub, Angelos on the Lobby Bar, Alexia on Reception, Stephanie on Customer relations and Anelgo (evening buggy driver back up to our rooms). We loved meeting you all and thank you so much for your care and attention.The food in the buffet restaurant is the best I have ever had at any All Inclusive Hotel. It was hot (which is rare) and extremely tasty with a huge variety. 10/10. Drinks options again a great list of cocktails and soft drinks for those not partaking in alcoholic drinks. We also ordered a floating breakfast during our stay which at Euro 15 pp was amazing value, we could not eat all of the food that was supplied and as we were in the swim up room we got 20% off of this also.We met lots of people throughout our stay who have been coming to the hotel some 8+ years and it is not difficult to see why they would keep returning.
