  Worst hotel stay of my entire life

  This hotel is not only dirty but extremely run down, once it would’ve been lovely. The pretty fountains in promo shots are broken and rusted and down side of hotel , a lot of the sun loungers and chairs were broken, it was never set up Like in pics outside. There were broken tiles and general disrepair everywhere. They had strips of carpet to cover dirty bits in dining room, dirty table clothes and dust all over bar in there that was never used. Only entertainment was a tv , someone (member of staff?)was sleeping on sofa regularly as pillow and blanket left on it daily. The food 🤮 breakfast was best meal, one type cereal,but had jar of condensed milk to go with it? dried bread, cake , boiled eggs and cheese, one time in whole week was few chopped hot dogs. Lunch and dinner was congealed oily pasta, dried out salads, and chicken or pork in sauce, couldn’t work out what most time and was greasy and horrible, every day was mix frozen peas and carrots with pasta or sometimes potatoes. .Only desert was icecream. We only ate breakfast there in end after trying a few different times we ended up eating in old town or a local kebab shop we were told to go to near hotel. No snacks or anything. Even if there wasn’t much choice Food wasn’t well cooked or nice so we found inedible, and we eat anything, definitely not fussy eaters. The pool is extremely deep , no depth markings and there is no shallow end , the ladders were loose on walls. We felt extremely unsafe and definitely wouldn’t let any kids in it. Wasn’t cleaned regularly when we were there as same rubbish floating in it 3 days in a row. Only one bar staff and she was amazing, running around trying to do everything, frequently covering reception too as often no one there, Only two cocktails and three spirits 5pm-11, they were awful, and flat lager and vinegary wine all day with soft drinks, we ended up going out every evening, which we don’t normally do. Now the worst bit , cleaning our room, our first room had mould in wardrobe and bathroom, (we were told just a dried stain mark on wall) it wasn’t, it was damp and we wiped mould off. We were told send a cleaner up that afternoon but couldn’t move us then, Moved us next day after complained it hadn’t been cleaned still. But the next room bathroom kept flooding up drain in floor when showered, you’d get dirt and other peoples hair coming up from sink onto floor, bath had dirt marks in it, dried toothpaste on side of sink , broken loo seat, dirty glasses in bedroom , never even changed. Didn’t wipe surfaces down as had a dead fly on side for four days (and we didn’t have stuff on sides) we weren’t flushing waste tissues in toilet as they get blocked and just put in bin, they didn’t empty bin regularly so it smelt of poo. We put in nappy sacks and were told by cleaners one day to leave the bags outside our door in corridor as we were leaving to go out for day, we came back 830pm they hadn’t taken bag or cleaned room and just gave us clean towels after we complained. Many times they just walked in without knocking as we were getting dressed and we’d ask to give us a few minutes and they’d not bother coming back, (were told we refused access)

  me and my husband went to this hotel in aug this year .we were the only english there all staff were very plesant the young girl who worked the bar was so lovely we chatted every day so good at her job she made you feel very welcome and very helpfull when i asked about how to get to the new and old town she gave me a pressant when we were there i will keep it forever she is an asset to this hotel. food what there was cooked very well but such a small choise and it was the same every day . its a long walk to the old town there is not much around where the hotel is just houses .im sorry but i would not go back no entertainment sometimes you have to wait a while when there is no one on the bar for someone from the reciption to come and serve you it made you feel like you were putting on to the staff having to leave there job to serve you . i would just like to say thankyou to the lovely girl on bar miss you .

  Hotel Tired and in need of Repairs including asking daily for a hairdryer as none in rooms . Hairdryer had insulating tape hanging from it.Food - appalling - same menu every morning -- cereal (cornflakes - only) Boiled Eggs Chopped pepperoni sausage, ham, cheese and bread sticks Evening meal lacked imagination and varity. No deserts other than ice cream and one type of fruitRooms OK but hard bedCleaning - very poorGeneral service / staff -- staff needed to warm to you before they were helpfulLocation - Despite being down a murky side road access to Marina 10 mins / Old Town 20 min enjoyable walkPool - tired no centre fountain (rusted) some sun beds torn in places, pool tiles uneven.Reluctant to cater for any dietary requirementsEntertainment - none but for one television

  Cannot thank Denise enough for going above and beyond for me and my son.The shuttle ended up only five minutes late, but thanku for going well out of your way to let us know.The staff will go out of there way to make your stay a comfortable one.Hotel is as already said five minutes from beach and fifteen minutes from the old Rhodes town, bus to faliraki five minutes away and so easy, good location.

  We like this hotel, its not perfect, but for 3* its very good. Friendly, helpful staff and hotel owners. 10 minutes from hotel old town, 5 minutes go on to the beach. The choice of breakfast is small, but lunch and dinner are very tasty and many choices.Room was handled daily, although we did not really ask. We were in September 2017, and we will return to this hotel more. The hotel need repairs, but this does not prevent you from enjoying holidays and being there.
