Location

The hotel is situated on the east coast of Rhodes in the Kolymbia area, about 27 km from the town of Rhodes and about 36 km from Rhodes International Airport.

Facility

The bungalow complex has a lift and features 186 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hairdresser. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked.

Sport

Plenty of active relaxation awaits guests in the pool area's 2 outdoor pools. Even in bad weather, a swim in the indoor pool is always an option. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers outdoor sports, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, crazy golf and Nordic walking or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking. With aquafit or, for a fee, water skiing, windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides and canoeing available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis, darts, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym and billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath, a spa and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and live music round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 2 non-smoking restaurants. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    A Wonderful Experience at the Port Royal

    We spent wonderful days at this well-maintained hotel in May and can warmly recommend it. Romeo who is caring about you at the beach went above and beyond, even securing a lost t-shirt for me and recognizing me instantly. Irena at the beach service was also incredibly kind.While the breakfast is rich, I'd love a bit more freshness and quality to truly match the five-star standard. Overall, it remains a wonderful trip in a great location with easy access to activities. It's a solid four out of five for me, largely thanks to the fantastic staff.     There was a lot of differing reviews for this place which left me well confused on some things before I went so I thought I’d write one that may hopefully clear some things up. A lot of people complain about the food and how not everything is actually included in the all inclusive. This is true for some things. So every morning and evening there is a buffet that you can eat from and no restrictions in terms of food. There was a different theme every night for a week and the food was lovely. There are a couple of à la carte to book into but we couldn’t really be bothered as those menus were very limiting and there was only a few things included. It may also be annoying for drinkers. We aren’t so didn’t bother us but there is quite a reduced menu for example there’s only really Gordon’s and basic Tanceray gin included in the gin section. They do “snacks” at lunch time which is things like burger and chips you can have for lunch or get dressed out of swimmers to go into the à la carte which again we couldn’t be bothered to do. We were sold this as a hotel with à la carte options like we’ve done in Mexico and Mauritius but this is far away from that. We didn’t mind because buffet food was so nice and fresh but if you go there expecting different then I get why it can be annoying.The other thing is the whole “private beach” nonsense. Even the guy showing us around used that term. I think they should be up front about this because again it would save disappointment and bad reviews. This is in no way private. What it is, hotel only loungers on a section of a public beach. Again we don’t mind as we’re not huge beach fans anyway. I would highly recommend the shared pool rooms as they are really close to the beach for the view and the pool is lovely to swim or lounge in. Another thing to be mindful of is the gym doesn’t open till 8. I think for a hotel that has a spa in its title this isn’t the right choice because a lot of people want to go the gym before breakfast and grab a lounger and when breakfast starts at 7 you’re ages behind everyone if you use the gym. It is also really small and at times it was full. Overall though we had a lovely stay and the staff are lovely and the room was great but the things above luckily didn’t bother us but may annoy others.
