  Great location. Inedible food. Poor internet connection.

  The best thing that we could say is that the rooms are clean. The kitchen is below our expectations. The foods are swimming in oil, and they are very poorly flavoured. There are no signs to tell you what you will eat/can choose from. We also saw the cook, who was really dirty, that’s not the thing how you expect a cook to be. And there are flys everywhere, it’s just terrible. The staff is however very kind and cheerful, which is nice. I would not recommend - there are places with similar pricing that offer better food or just go for accomodation because the location is nice with the see just 1 minute from your room but don’t book half board. We ate out at Stefanos (10min car ride) and that was the food we expect on Greece to be. The beach is nice.

  A holiday home away from home!

  Stafilia Beach Hotel is absolutely lovely place and one can feel like at home! Starting from the reception with the lovely ladies that welcome you with a smile and are always super helpful if one needs anything. The restaurant is very good, it has a great buffet also for vegetarians with a lot of vegetables and the staff is super nice and they make sure everyone is feeling welcome. The garden of Stafilia Beach Hotel is nice and green, full with fruit trees and other plants which the gardener and all around good guy is looking after and last but not least the cleaning angels that keep this place very clean and tidy are doing an amzing job. A place many people keep returning to because it is a small cosy hotel right at the beachfront - a holiday home away from home!

  suitable for undemanding Four S holidaymakers (sun, sea, stone, sand)

  Although the hotel is designated as a three-star hotel, it does not meet the 2020-2025 essential criteria set by the Hotelstars Union, a partnership to which Greece is a signatory. The crucial criteria that the hotel staff, service, and pieces of equipment don't meet are:The team doesn't have uniforms or suitable clothing (The bartenders wear uniform aprons from under which "modern" ripped jeans look entirely out of place).There are no identification badges (except for the daily receptionist).The wait staff is rude and incompetent regarding soft skills and attitude towards guests.There is no laundry or ironing service, No linen shelves in wardrobes, No accessible power socket near the mirror in the bathroom, no storage surface, no toothbrush tumbler, No body wash or shower gel at the shower, no shampoo, no facial tissues, The hotel does not have a website, pencils, notepads, or any printed or digital information about the surrounding area.The above listed are the minimum criteria a three-star hotel must meet. The safe and air-conditioning are only available for a fee, The overall impression of the hotel is medium. The rooms are clean. It is also quite unusual that a hotel guest has to pay a tourist tax in advance for the time he booked a space. What if something happens and he doesn't stay, e.g., healthy issues in the hotel? The owners can quickly rectify technical and material issues. What is more challenging is the staff, who will need to attend more training and education for the hotel to justify a three-star standard.

  Welcoming staff and beautiful time

  Me and my two friends were visiting for 4 nights and 4 days recently from 28th July til 1st August - the visit was so much better than expected. Firstly, a big thank you to Joanna, Michael, Chris, Dennis, Sienna and Yannis, they were the absolute best at making us feel welcome and recommending great things and places for us to visit. The beach was within a very convenient walking distance and the Sabina Water sports was a very good time, we went for cliff diving and enjoyed the boat ride in general. Another person i want to thank is Phillip who runs the near by super market (stafilia beach supermarket) he provided a lot of insight into the local area and the different activities we could also do. He is going to open up his café next door to his shop so hopefully on the next visit we will be able to try that out!

  Sorry to be one of those people….. BUT I checked in to a lateral sea view room last night. Firstly I can see a postage stamp of the sea it’s not a front facing sea room at all it’s a room that over looks the rest of the hotel and the front of the room is in the car park! And above reception! I slept terribly not only due to the heat as air con is an extra charge! But the noise of the bin men at early hours and being so close to reception I can hear people checking in and out! I went to complain this morning which the man who checked me in said to ask if I can move to the sea room view but there was no rooms available. I stated I was going to leave a bad review on trip advisor in hoping they would be able to offer me something else or maybe even give me the aircon for free but no such luck! She was happy for me to write a bad review on here! I will not be returning and am looking at other hotels to stay. I haven’t looked at any other facilities here.
