  Wonderful hotel and owners

  Wow! What an amazing stay in Casa Stavris, a clean and modern hotel of 23 rooms run by a friendly and helpful family - wonderful hosts. So much nicer than a corporate-style all inclusive type affair! The older photos here do not do it justice! Our room was a reasonable size and spotless. The bed was so comfortable we slept really well and the bathroom and shower were private with a frosted glass door that is not see through. The shower had overhead and hand hold options. We had an outdoor hot tub which was great - the water was lovely and warm but not steamy hot which we appreciated as we could stay in longer on hot days (note it can’t be used during quiet time 3-5pm). Our private outdoor space was enclosed with a table and chairs and sun beds. We didn’t have a kitchenette but had a good sized fridge plus a safe.Home made breakfast was wonderful and my favourite part of the day - continental, buffet style with some hot options, cereals, cheeses, breads, salad, juice, fruit, coffee, a range of cakes etc. Overseen and prepared by the lovely, friendly female owner we really enjoyed chatting to and who looked after us.The bar/cafe and pool area was a real highlight. It was a relaxing area with the swimming pool and sun loungers at one end and the outdoor covered seating area at the other. A few snacks were available including lovely home made hot options and pizza.The hotel is on the main road but this didn’t bother us, we zoned out of any noise and it’s well designed to be an oasis once inside. Bus stops are close and there is a nice taverna a few doors down which gets busy. Easy walk to main Faliraki, took us 5-6 minutes to get to the bridge where loads of bars, restaurants etc are and 18 minutes along the main road to the other end. There was a grocery store 5 minutes away. We preferred Mike’s Bar on the main strip by the bridge for drinks and cocktails in the evening (also with lovely owners) and Gregory’s a great bakery/cafe on the main road. We didn’t bother with the beach (15-20 minutes walk) as we preferred the pool.We would stay here again when we return to Faliraki.

  A Modern clean oasis. All round Excellent!

  This is an excellent family owned Hotel, We stayed from 20th to 27th July 2024. We arrived late (thanks to the Microsoft problems) and were welcomed by the owners son. The room was good with good air conditioning. The room was cleaned and beds made everyday with towels replaced every other day. The public areas were very clean and modern. The pool was great and always clean. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of variation. The only minor downside is the location next to a busy road, but you are well isolated from it with only traffic noise being occasionally intrusive. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. In short highly recommended.

  Very clean hotel family operated.Every one of them very friendly and ready to help.Very cozy swimming pool atmosphere.Quiet with very rich breakfast prepared like home!Definitely recommend and surely will visit again!!!Special thanks to Panos for all his help!!

  I wanted to write a positive review but day 3 if our holiday the cleaner had decided to wash all the floors around 9am just before people make their way to breakfast. There were no signs warning about slippery floors . My partner stepped out of the apartment, slipped and had a vey bad fall on the v slippery, very hard marble floor badly knocking her head and elbow leaving her bruised and with 2 big lumps on the back of her head. We complained about the lack of warning and we’re told the cleaner forgot to put the signs out . This was a lie as we’d seen her mop before and there were never any signs. It is really reckless, it spoilt the holiday as has having a really throbbing headache for 3 days in 30 degree heat is unbearable. We complained to the manager and they did offer to get medical attention but it never should’ve happened. Will never stay there again.

  Lovely hotel

  Our experience here was very good. The distance between the hotel and the beach is the minus of the hotel. In that area, you need to rent a car if you want to visit the island. Also, the markets are too far to buy heavy things. We rent a car for two days and took all we need these days. To the beach, it is 15 minutes walking. The personal was extremely friendly, they were asking us everyday if everything is fine and they suggested us different turistic objectives to visit. Also, they recommended us the renting car company.Rooms were cleaned every day, the AC worked well and the breakfast was delicious, with a lot of handmade items.Also, the kitchen had all kind of tools if you want to cook something.
