    Let down by the lack of welcome but good room

    We arrived around 2.30am, coach dropped us on main road and we couldn't find it easily. All the other hotels the coach dropped off at had someone waiting for them. Not here! We lugged cases around in the dark looking for reception which is not obvious, to find a note pinned to the door with our name and room number on it, and 'this block' A little map would help. Another search. Room found and it was fine but no water (another lady I met on the coach had sandwiches and water left in her hotel room) So no water until morning.If you are arriving late, suggest you have a look on google to help you with location as the coach can't get down the drive, and make sure you buy water at the airport.The room itself was large, clean and tidy, the beds comfy. There is a rainfall walk in shower, but it takes some skill not to flood the bathroom floor. Bins emptied every day but Friday when the room was not serviced. A late check out was charged at £40!The breakfasts we paid for were good and the bar lady lovely.Our room had a balcony near the bar, so often is was very noisy till midnight with the smell of drifting cigarette smoke. Maybe ask for a room away from the bar.The hotel is in a good location for the beaches and restaurants and the room was fine but the lack of welcome on the first night means we wouldn't return

    Arrived after midnight, room left open, all seemed fine. Next day the shower flooded the room. When I asked for help, staff were extremely hostile — reprimanded me for not checking in (notice in room just says check in during the following day - doesn’t state this has to be done by a particular time), demanded my passport, and were visibly annoyed I paid room tax by card. Their rudeness soured the whole trip.Other issues:• WiFi too slow to use.• Shower kept flooding (we didn’t dare report it again).• Woken early daily by noisy cleaners.• Guests were loud, drunk, and inconsiderate, often arguing or blasting phones on loudspeaker.Hotel location is good, but staff attitudes and the plethora of drunk old Brits it seems to attract ruined the holiday. Easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in for customer service.

    LOVELY PLACE TO STAY!

    Summer Memories is a fabulous place to stay. It’s tucked away just off the main strip, in easy reach of the bars, restaurants & beaches. It also has a good supermarket just over the road. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious & had a newly fitted bathroom with a great shower. We always had a good nights sleep on the very comfortable bed. The balcony overlooked the well tended entrance with palm trees and views of the mountains. There is a lovely bar and pool which are always kept beautifully clean. The staff were all very friendly & helpful.We will definitely be going back. Thoroughly recommended!!!

    Charming hotel, super clean with comfy beds and good bathrooms with lots of hot water. Very well placed in the village, walking distance to beaches and restaurants and shops but set slightly back so quiet at night. The staff were all helpful and nice. I went with my daughter and would go again, highly recommended.

    What can I say? I can’t find a thing negative to say about this hotel!5* location - only a few steps to all restaurants and bars !5* service - the staff couldn’t have done any more for you if they tried. Great family atmosphere. Lovely, lovely friendly people. Always a genuine welcome no matter what time. There was not one who wasn’t extremely pleasant. 5* food - we only had breakfast but the selection was phenomenal and anything we had was very tasty. 5* pool area - the pool was just perfect and no matter when you arrived you could get a sun-bed. 5* comfort - ok, rooms are a bit old fashioned but they were extremely large with plenty of space, extremely clean (immaculate) and the beds were super comfy. Also plenty of hangers - which makes a change. I would go back in a minute and can’t recommend enough.
