  I loved this hotel and so did my family. We rented a lovely apartment and everything was perfect. I loved the artistic style of the hotel and calm atmosphere. A lovely fresh breakfast daily which was amazing value. The owner, Mr Manolis was very kind and helpful. Is very near the airport which is a plus point and also close to the town of Pythagoria. We had an amazing holiday and am looking forward ta returning! ❤️

  Just coming to the end of a two week stay at The Apollon and can't speak highly enough of it. The first thing to say is that it is very near to the airport ( five minutes in a taxi) but this hasn't been an issue as there are so few flights every day. Although not English speakers the owner and his team are all really helpful ( he immediately provided us with a kettle for our room when I asked). We had a room on the second floor with a sea view which was lovely and the room itself was spotlessly clean. We booked on a b&b basis and the breakfast ( which was continental) was perfectly adequate. The pool area was pleasant with enough sunbeds for those who wanted them. Most of the other guests were either German,Dutch or Scandinavian I believe which is true of the whole resort of Pythagorio. We heard very few English voices throughout our stay. Which was actually quite refreshing.The beach is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel. There are lots of sunbeds which belong to other hotels but can be hired for between 10 and 12 Euros per day for two beds and parasol. We were normally on the beach by 9.30 so could always find a bed but did notice that by 10.00 there were few to be had. The beach is served by a few beach bars serving lunch time snacks.The main town of Pythagorio is a 20 minute walk from the hotel and is wonderful. Plenty of shops to browse and a host of bars and restaurants to choose from. This leads to the harbour, where lots of bars and restaurants can be found. A perfect place to relax with a drink and 'people watch'.In summary The Apollon is perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet but within easy walking distance of the main town and beaches.

  Apollon is a great 2 star hotel, cleaning staff are fantastic. Nice pool, great views to the airport for planes taking off.Nice areas outside for enjoying breakfast. very relaxing and close to the town and the beach.Definitely great value for money.

  Bed Bugs and awful owner!!!

  There was bed bugs in the hotel, other guests had the same issue. The owner was horrible. Rude and threatening behaviour and attitude. Breakfast not done by 8.00 as promised, and the breakfast was bad. Cold and no variation during my stay. No plugs near the bed in the room. And also super loud from the road outside. There was also always a disgusting water hose in the pool at all times. Not nice at all. Worst vacation ever. Samos island is very beautiful though, just not this hotel.

  Very clean rooms with very comfortable beds!!!!the buffe breakfast was very nice and the people who working in the hotel are amazing. Mr Manolis who is the owner working 24 hour to satisfy his costumers.
