  It feels like a hidden gem – and I hope it stays that way

  The first step was choosing the island. We had never even heard of Samos before. What made it stand out was its unique character: greener in the north, drier in the south, diverse in landscape, far less touristy than other Greek islands, yet rich in cultural and religious sites. Every August, the ancient Greek theatre comes alive with eight concerts featuring a wide range of music.I could go on about the island, but what I really want to highlight here is our hotel – and take a moment to remember it with fondness. It’s hard to say what made the greater impression: the genuinely kind staff (at reception, on the beach, during breakfast and dinner – always with a smile) or the hotel itself. We loved its moderate size, not designed for mass tourism, which gave it a more personal atmosphere. Guests, like us, seemed to want to explore the island and then unwind in this peaceful retreat. It feels like a hidden gem – and I hope it stays that way. Why pay extra for noisy animation and facilities you don’t use, when true relaxation is what you’re looking for?We never felt anything was missing. Breakfasts were simple but satisfying, and dinners offered local dishes that often exceeded our expectations. Everything about the place left a deeper impression than we had hoped for: friendly service, fair prices, beautiful views, cleanliness, attention to rules and safety, a personal approach, and efficient management whenever something needed fixing.And then there are the views – breathtaking, no matter where you stand in the hotel. Staying at Glicorisa, you truly feel Greece all around you.

  Absolutely would go back ..-again and again ..I have been visiting Samos for years, since it’s my daddy’s place of birth

  Amazing location on Samos, the bay is protected and the waters are clear and clean, a awesome for swimming , it’s not over crowded, the beach lounges are good quality, you even have a choice to seat on lounges in an elevated grassed area, the service is excellent, with a smile.You have a choice to either order on the beach, or head up to the kafe or tavern.

  we went to the sunbeds provided by our hotel's management in the same area.When our dog followed us into the sea, an employee from Glicorisa Beach approached and said dogs are not allowed in the sea.While they may not allow dogs in their facilities, they cannot ban dogs from entering the sea. Εκτός θάλασσας είναι υποχρεωτική πάντοτε η χρήση λουριού. Δράκος, εφόσον θέλουμε να επισκεφτούμε παραλία με λουόμενους, είναι απαραίτητο, ο σκύλος μας να έχει εξοικειωθεί με την πολυκοσμία και να μην ενοχλεί.«Είναι απαραίτητο να βρούμε ένα μέρος σκιερό, ή να δημιουργήσουμε σκιά, ώστε να μπορεί να προφυλαχθεί από τον ήλιο, διότι υπάρχει κίνδυνος θερμοπληξίας, ή ηλίασης.Μαζί μας έχουμε άφθονο νερό, για να τον δροσίζουμε. Επίσης, προτείνεται να έχουμε μαζί μας τα αγαπημένα του παιχνίδια, έτσι ώστε να τον παροτρύνουμε να ασχολείται με αυτά, και να παίζουμε κι εμείς μαζί του.Όσο θα βρισκόμαστε στην παραλία, καλό θα είναι να κάνουμε βόλτες μακριά από τους λουόμενους, ώστε να κάνει την ανάγκη του. Σε περίπτωση που βουτήξει στη θάλασσα, φροντίζουμε να τιναχτεί σε σημείο που δεν θα ενοχλήσει τον κόσμο», υπογραμμίζει ο κ.   The beach was so nice, good sunbeds, clean area. The staff at The beach was very friendly, very good service. We got A bucket with ice whenwe orded two beers🧋. Always cold drinks, they sell much good food also.

  I had a wonderful stay in June at Glicorisa Beach Hotel.Very relaxing,peaceful ,and clean hotel with every room having sea view.Located in the midst of nature,very close to Phytagorian.Sea is crystal clear,excellent to swim.Food is good,staff is polite,smiling,and helpful.They do their job in a loving way.The lady at the breakfast buffet,Gina,she was amazing.Working hard and smiling at everyone.Agi on the beach,he was serving making sweet jokes.These are the names I know,every working person at this hotel is great.When I visit Samos again,I will definitely stay here again.
