    A wonderful rescue

    We are a couple from Italy We would like to thank Helen for her welcoming, kindness, flexibility and honesty. We were coming from a previous bad experience and the stay in mandilada Village is great. Our bungalow is clean and with all the amenities needed for a relaxing holiday. The beach below kaladakia Is wonderful.

    We visited the beach below this hotel (Kaladakia beach) and we rent an umbrella and two sunbeds. The man asked 5€ but had no receipt for that. His excuse was that he had no time yet to bring the cash register down to the beach. This happened in September, by the end of the summer season. When will he print receipts, I wonder? By Christmas? Anyway the man offered to go up to the hotel to fetch a receipt (5 minutes way with a motor bike). When he returned, he talked to us in a very bad manner for us making him drive so far (it was his fault, remember?). He said he didn't want us for clients, as if he owned the beach. What an audacity! He told us that he just forgot to bring the cash register with him that specific day. This was a brand new excuse within 15 minutes.I am ashamed for being also a Greek and that this man is taking advantage of a beach that belongs to everyone.
