  Very Small room, hotel doesn’t offer much food and is out in the sticks. Room didn’t match the pictures or the bigger rooms were the one advertised. Receptionist was really nice and accommodating. Free breakfast was really nice. Good view and a pool. Poor WiFi. They have a talk outside the rooms everyday which creates massive amounts of noise. Vaggelis Damigos, Owner at Agia Irini, responded to this review Dear Sir / madam ,I am very sorry for your comment and for your experience .First of all, we don’t provide lunch or dinner as we don't have a restaurant (you were completely informed) also the breakfast is not free of charge .The rooms have the traditional style of this island, they are not old as you say. About their size, it is exactly as we write at our website .You stayed at room number 8, this is the same room as the photos in booking or expedia.com.My pictures for a double room are from rooms 8 and 9 and for the apartments are from apartment 1 and 12.If what you wanted was just a bigger room you could easily have booked one of the two apartments we got. If you would like I can send you the pictures from your room so you can compare with the pictures on internet.(expedia.com as you made the reservation).It is not possible to say something like that as you made reservation for regural double rooms and not for a big NEW apartment .About the noise , that is not possible , as the hotel is in the most quiet place and my staff as you said is very kind and they take care a lot.About the wifi , we use STARLINK (satelite) , Elon mask internet and the speed is 150-200 mps and I think that is not only good speed but very good as we are in a small island AND the maximum speed is 24mps (local company). Furthermore, you didn't mention to us that you had a problem with the internet connection.   We spent 4 nights at the Agia Irini hotel in September 2023. The welcome was wonderful. They were very helpful in giving us information on tours and restaurants. The hotel is located in a less busy location than those overlooking the Caldera. You will probably need a car to do your sightseeing. From the Agia Irini hotel, access to parking lots to visit Oia and Fira is very easy with distances of around 7 to 10 km on an easy road. The hotel is also close to the airport and the beautiful, less busy villages located in central Santorini. The rooms are very comfortable. We really liked the breakfasts for which you can choose several items from a very complete menu. The terrace and swimming pool offer a beautiful, quiet location to relax and watch the sunrise over the sea.

  The Very Good and the Outstanding

  Location- 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Fira. Transport needed but everywhere accessible by Taxi.Hotel- 12 room bed and breakfast. Cosy room which was spotlessly cleaned every day. Breakfasts were lovely.The owner Mr Vaggelis has to be the best host I have ever encountered- a 3 delay meant we didn't arrive until 11pm but nothing was too much trouble, and that theme was ever-present. A definite must stay if you want tranquility but to be within a 15 minute journey to Fira or Oia.

  Great hotel! The family who runs this place are truly kind and helpful. The rooms were nice and the view from the pool was amazing.Even though the location is a bit remote don’t worry you will get all the help you need to take yourself in and out of town! Went there with my wives family for a wedding and we had a great time. Thank you guys for everything I wish too meet you again sometime!
