  Quiet side of the island. Hotel was lovely, friendly, staff were helpful in planning trips, getting taxis etc. Great pool area and beach across the road. Public bus stop 1-3 euros per trip around the island. Good local restaurant, Captain Loizos, family run, friendly and good food, and a small shop for essentials.

  This place was amazing, next to the beach , clean rooms , staff was very nice and attentive to our needs . They made sure we had the perfect time , they arranged activities for us and booked taxis for us . Special mention to Sunday , Miss Effie and the 2 bar attendants .

  Never Again: Nothing like the photos and not worth the price

  Hotel reception, bar, pool, outdoor seating, etc is lovely and nicely decorated, new, and clean. The staff is very cool ( maybe too cool), friendly, and was very helpful. Creative photography with their photos: What the photos do not show is the hotel is located between a parking of abandoned cars/trucks on one side and a Power Plant directly on the other, overlooking a dirt road and parking.Maisonette “sea view” was not in good condition, not clean, stains and fingerprints all over, room locks only with key from the inside which is attached to the card for electricity ( illegal in several countries as this poses a huge danger as without the key you cannot lock the door or if locked you cannot get out without the key. After Having separated the key from the card to be able to leave the key in the door and have electricity at same time, when I gave it back I was questioned by reception and told not to do that). The patio door locks barely locked and could not see through the balcony door windows all fogged up with hard water, a bed pad covered the twin bed that is posed as a couch, very tiny space, and very hot despite AC which is oddly located in the tiny upstairs « loft » with low ceiling where unable to stand up straight without hitting head so never cooled downstairs. Balcony is minuscule with very old rickety wood chairs.No sea view: “sea view” is blocked by trees: the real view is of the parking, pool and run down dusty old taverna. Located very far from Kamari (45min walk or 20-25€ taxi). Nothing there but a parking, a mini mart with ATM, two very casual run down “restaurants”, beach way off in the distance. Beach chairs 18€ which are not part of hotel. The surroundings and room are Nothing like the photos. Nowhere near worth the price or even a 2*Upon arrival I immediately found a new 4*hotel in Kamari leaving as fast as possible the next morning: less expensive, 30m2, classy, clean, private free beach club, private hot tub on 20m2 balcony directly on the sea front. After a long negotiation we were able to negotiate my cancellation penalty amicably which was appreciated even though I still had to bear sleeping one night there. If you are looking for a very isolated out very casual “beach bum” type stay near the beach and the airport or have a quick layover and intend to not visit anything, this hotel is okay but still overpriced even for that. Otherwise, I cannot recommend it.

  It is great place and very close to the beach nice wonderful people and service and helpful.. transportation to Thira bus stop close the hotel run at one hour to two hours you can ask the hotel for the time table last around 9pm to Thira and from there to the other part of the island.

  The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and included a mini fridge. The pool was nice with comfortable seats around it. We really enjoyed our stay and had no problems at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in a quieter place!
