    This accommodation was wonderful, less than a 10 minute walk to the centre (close to PK cocktail bar, the vine restaurant, enigma cafe- all fabulous places to drink or eat). The suite was very spacious and well equipped, the hot tub was really relaxing. The standout positive from this stay was the receptionist, Dimitris! He was amazing, giving us great recommendations for our stay and being available to us at all times. Would happily return to Altemar suites!

    Good hotel in a convenient location, only a short walk distance from the Fira center and the main restaurant area. It has a nice swimmong pool with loungers and the general atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. Very nice room, with all the ammenities and a terrace with a small hot tub but enough for two people. The view is good and it is great to be there at night.The cleaning is fantastic and the cleaners very kind.

    It's Giving Luxury w/ Reasonable Prices

    Came here mid-September w/ family for just a 2-day stay in Santorini, and it was probably one of our favorite things about our Grecian vacation! I reached out to Dimitris, who mans the front desk, to arrange transportation to and from the docks, so that was one less thing to worry about, which was much appreciated. It was fairly priced too imo maybe about €40-60 from what I remember, and make note that it's arranged with a third-party, so you'll pay the driver directly. They were also so understanding of the delays we experienced with the port and accommodated us, so that was much appreciated. Dimitris is the heart of this place, and we are so grateful to have had such a professional and knowledgeable person to help us navigate Santorini. He gave us tips on how to well manage our time here, and although we opted out on the tours he suggested, we were still given the same impeccable service. The room was nice and clean with easy instructions on how to work the AC unit and private hot tub. Make note that there is a small division between your suite and the one next to yours. The location is about a 10-minute walk to Fira town, so far away for a peaceful nights sleep but close enough to enjoy the festivities when we want to. Would definitely come back here the next time we're in Santorini!

    Worst place I have ever rented thinking it was a hotel!

    This place is borderline an airbnb. There is NO staff at all! Not even a bell hop. the manager Dimitris puts a lot of effort trying to make you cancel any outing you may have planned so he can sell you his.he is extremely arrogant. The rooms are okay but nothing like they post. This is all old furniture. There is no breakfast or restaurant included. You do your own grocery shopping but the refrigerator in the room is sooo small you can't actually fit what you need. The pool is a hole in the ground and again no service

    Altermar Suites & Dimitrius - A true gem in Santorini - Highly Recommended!

    What a beautiful hotel with all the facilities you could ask for from a quality hotel, a superb combination of perfection and tranquility. The hotel features luxury suites which are decorated very tastefully to match the colour palette of Santorini with well designed rooms and a small kitchen area with panini toaster and Nespresso maker and a separate kettle and fridge with a small selection of essential cutlery.The superior suites come complete with a very generously sized separate seating area and x 2 TV's - one in the seating area and one in the bedroom.Dimitrius is the perfect host and is a wealth of knowledge for everything Santorini and able to help with anything big or small - a really knows the best restaurants all of which are within walking distance.Altermar is perfectly located for Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli and Oia (which is a little further out).Would highly recommend this place, and would without a doubt visit again and again.Keep up the great work, Thank you!
