  The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. However, we were disappointed that the hotel didn't serve breakfast but it was close to a very good bakery. Also, the location was very close to the beach.

  This was a gem of a find. The family were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was upgraded on arrival and we had access to a roof terrace as well as choice of balconies. There were areas to dry any clothing, hairdryer, small hob and kettle in each room. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh bedding and towels, bins emptied and surfaces cleaned. What more could you want. Lovely views from balconies and terrace.

  I absolutely enjoyed this stay to the maximum. The family run place is adorable and the family itself…they looked after me like I was their own :) The studio has everything you need - comfortable clean bed, the fridge, the cooker, plates, mugs, cutlery… and the views. It’s located within 5 mins to the popular Gyros place, beach, bakery... If you rent a car, you can park just a few metres higher up on the left in the car park. I took my running shoes with me and enjoyed the morning run along the beach promenade. Thank you very much for making my holidays special! If I return to Santorini, I’ll make sure to stay here again.

  Outstanding Stay in Dreamy Santorini!

  I can’t express enough how fantastic my stay was! Not only is the location ideal but the service is above and beyond in every way. A hidden oasis 5 minutes away from one of the nicest beaches of Santorini 🏖️⛵ The room was immaculately clean and so comfortable. Above them all was the family who greeted us with large smiles from the beginning to the end of our adventure 😍 They couldn't have been more helpful. There are very few places that meet so many standards and make you feel so at home. I would happily stay here again and again. When we come back to Santorini, we will 100% return 💕

  Great base for Santorini, really friendly owners and spotless rooms.

  This is a traditional Greek hotel, and we chose the cheapest room (basement) so it was pretty small and basic. But we knew that before we travelled, and the room had everything we needed in it for a comfortable week's stay. The owners are friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily to a really high standard. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there as the resort as a whole felt like it was just getting started for the season. There isn't a pool at Ancient Thera Studios but we just went to the beach everyday as many places are happy for you to chill on their loungers as long as you buy a couple of drinks or some food. Tranquilo was our favourite spot on the beach front.The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the beach front and the main bars/restaurants in Perissa, where there's plenty of choice for food and drinks etc. You're also in a great position to walk up the volcano to the ancient ruins and to the old church in the hillside from Ancient Thera Studios. There are several supermarkets, bakeries, bars etc within 5-10 minutes walk, and you're really close to the public bus stop which takes you to Fira with connections to Oia. The main church is nearby too and it's just as pretty.I'd happily stay here again, and would definitely recommend to anyone who's pretty low maintenance and wants to do their own thing.
