  Oia’s best kept secret!

  I’m afraid to give away the secret with my review. We stayed in Villa HYDOR, Gaia, and in a Superior Studio with sea view and outdoor hot tub. The rooms were perfect and the service from all the staff exceeded our expectations. Lena helped us with so many things during our stay and made several arrangements for transportation for excursions and to/from the airport when we arrived earlier than scheduled. She made sure everything ran seamlessly. The private pool between Gaia and HYDOR was a perfect way for all five of us to spend time together and it was much larger than we expected. The steps to our villas were fewer than many of the others along the caldera which was one of the reasons we decided to stay here, but be prepared if you have mobility concerns. We loved being slightly removed from the busyness of the village of Oia, but still only a few minutes walk to all the action. The breakfast provided by the hotel was a wonderful amenity, providing more than enough options of hot and cold foods. The view, location, rooms, staff, and service can’t be beat. Thank you to Spiros and all the Anemomilos staff for a five star vacation. We will be back with the rest of the family!

  Beautiful small hotel with amazing views.

  This hotel is in the perfect location in the beginning of Oia. Which makes it easy that you can explore Oia either in the morning or evening before or after the tourist masses arrive. Very good bus transportation to Fira and other beaches on the island. The Caldera view is simply amazing. The staff was really friendly. We had a room with balcony, overlooking the pool and sea side (not Caldera view). Our room seemed newly renovated, really pretty greek modern style, not big but perfectly fine. The super market is right next to the hotel. The romantic little village of Finikia is a short walk away, perfectly hidden from the tourist masses, where we had most of our amazing dinners (Meze Meze, Lefkes, Krinaki). Behind the hotel up the hill you can also enjoy an amazing sunset over Oia away from the tourist masses.

  Unforgettable experience

  Amazing!!! We stayed in the villa hydor and had an incredible experience! The view of the caldera is breathtaking.We loved the location, close to Oia's center but far enough from the crowds for a peaceful stay. While we were at the pool, it was so quiet and beautiful. Also, the hotel has a parking available and we were able to use the hotel's pool after check-out! The staff were super friendly and made our stay even more unforgettable. The breakfast had a lot of variety and included Greek dishes. The hydor villa has a shared pool with other villa but I guess we were lucky with the neighbours so that wasn’t a problem at all. One important tip: the main building of the hotel doesn’t have caldeira view. Only the villas do. Make sure to book one of the villas if you want caldeira view.

  Disappointed Management System

  I booked this hotel with a Hot tub for 2 nights 3 days! When I asked them about the hot water at the front desk, they said there are some parts not working and it will be delivered by this evening.The other day it was the same issue! They responded we can not run in this windy weather! The temperature felt like 16 degrees! This was horrible! When I asked to have a word with a manager he offered a bottle of wine worth £20, which I paid for £100 extra for a room with a hot tub!When I asked for a refund via a third party, from which I booked this hotel! They just completely changed the wording and said that the hot tub was working and we offered a wine as well!Such a liar management system!They just don't know how to treat a customer! If things are not working, give the money back! We are here in Santorini for a one-time experience and we paid money for the same! We were not asking for anything extra!Think twice before you book a hotel with such a disappointment and hopeless management system! As a gesture of goodwill, we even offered you a complimentary bottle of wine, despite the fact that your room’s amenities were functioning as described upon booking.We always strive to ensure a positive experience for every guest, but we also believe in standing by the truth.   Great value in Oia!

  This hotel exceeded our expectations for the value! We stayed in a double room with no frills. The room was fine, but it was everything else about the stay that made it so great!Firstly, the pool area is amazing. It’s so relaxing and there were plenty of spots. There is an all-day bartender here too.Additionally, we really enjoyed the on-site restaurant. They provided complimentary breakfast daily, and we went there every day for an authentic Greek lunch! So convenient to have it so close to the room.The hotel was also great for scheduling our transportation from the airport and to the port. We had anticipated needing to book a taxi (which could prove to be a challenge), so it was a great relief to book directly with the hotel.I recommend this for anyone looking to come to Santorini at an affordable price!
