    Wonderful views and location

    rating09 May 2026

Travel advisors review, Views are to die for the main reason I chose this hotel was because it mentioned every single room having a terrace or balcony with caldera views and thats absolutely true the views from any room are fantastic, the beds are really comfy and they kindly upgraded us as it was my daughters birthday and I sent an email before arrival, they also made our towels Into towel art on her birthday. The terraces are not private so people can walk across them but it honestly didn't matter and there are so many places to sit and chill you never really noticed others wandering around. Your suitcases are collected and carried on arrival as lots of steps, I wouldn't recommend to anyone with mobility issues as steps everywhere but then thats Santorini. Only things they could improve is hot tubs are not warm (in may it would have been nice to not be freezing) i guess hotter months it wouldn't matter. Reception are very helpful throughout the stay, it would be nice to have coffee sachets and normal tea in the room as the only offering was green tea which is a little strange if id have known I would have brought my own as there is a kettle. The location is also brilliant as its quiet yet only a few mins walk into fira itself which we did most nights, local restaurants also fabulous 👌

Staff Theft and Dishonest Service - Worst Hotel Experience Ever, it not!

    rating07 May 2026

We stayed at this hotel and was shocked to find that one of the staff members stole cash from my wallet which left in the locked room TWICE. When I reported it, the front desk tried to cover for each other instead of helping. I did not request the housekeeping during my stay, but the manager dare say that I should actively inform. The breakfast was nothing more than staff cafeteria quality, and the managers were extremely rude and fake, pretending to be helpful while clearly acting. They said the thief had been working there for tem years - no wonder they are so experienced! I am sure I am not the first or the last person this happened to. If you still decide to stay here, keep your money close to be prepared to lose it. Even one star feels too generous!

    Stunning views great location

    rating15 Oct 2025

Santorini Cliff side suites .We stayed at this hotel for the second week in October and had room 109. The views are the best we have ever had anywhere and although the balcony was not private ( most of them are not) we still had a lot of privacy. We woke up to amazing views walked up three steps to our sun beds and had a table and two deck chairs on a massive balcony enough to hold forty people. The hotel itself was equipped with everything you could want jacuzzis all over and hot tubs. The breakfasts was reasonable although it would have been nice to have eggs cooked freshly. The first couple of days they were cold but as soon as I asked for hot eggs the Zoy obliged and thanked me for suggestion of improvement. The receptionist Stratigoula was lovely and so was Georgis the porter .Zoy in the dining area was also very nice. Ten points you should know about Santorini .We stayed in Forostefani and in our an opinion great central location for seeing all of the island and the sunsets.Quads are cheap as is car hire and Moke hire. You can eat out for less than 50 euros a night with a carafe of wine if you are selective. Don’t believe all the stories about Santorini being expensive. Aktaion on the corner of the square in Firostefani was amazing. I had moussaka twice in that restaurant it was fab.We walked from Firostefani to Oia. Do not be fooled . This is a 10k plus hard walk over mountains cliffs and roads on shail paths. I would definitely not have walked back even though the views are tremendous.Kalmari is a lovely little town with a long promenade walk of restaurants and bars.Alkotari is a beautiful peaceful spot in the south of the island with amazing views from red beach.Oia is stunning but sadly it’s full of “I love me” people posing for selfies and photo shoots.Fira buses are regular and comfortable 2 euros to get anywhere.Fira is like any big commercialised town.Imogerli is also a beautiful little quiet village north of fira where you can walk out to Skala the big rock in the sea.Lastly in our opinion Santorini is the prettiest island we have ever seen and suggest to avoid the crowds but still get good weather 24 every day go in May or October.

    Very nice stay

    rating10 Oct 2025

Fabulous views from the room - very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast very good too. Lots of stairs/steps which are quite steep so not ideal if you have limited mobility. Well placed for shops/restaurants and near enough to airport and ferries. Friendly and helpful staff.

Superb and impeccable room, views, and sunsets, coupled with the warmest unmatched hospitality from Xia, Stratigoula, and the rest of the staff. What a wonderful place.
