  Nice location, room tidy , bathroom outdated

  Fantastic location to be. Room very basic but is nice and tidy. The only minus is the bathroom, it is small, outdated and locally rusty and with fungusparts on the ceiling. In our case a bid overpaid. The breakfast is basic but ok. There is a small pool and free beds on the beach. Take your watershoes with you as the beach is with vulcano rocks and hardly to walk on with bare food. The room will be cleaned every day.

  Don’t waste your money. The one good thing was that the room cleaners were excellent at cleaning the room each day. Moving to the negatives. The customer service was abysmal. We asked the receptionist is hire a car for us (a service they provide). On the day the car was supposed to arrive, the company were delayed by 1.5 hours. I accept this is not the fault of the hotel, however, when I asked to call the English speaking car hire I was told I couldn’t. When the reception called them for me, speaking in English, they said the car hire said they would be another 30 mins. This would have made the hire start at 12:00 so half way through the day. I asked if they would look to give some discount for this, and the receptionist took it upon himself to cancel the car hire, in front of me on the phone… telling them “you don’t need this, just cancel it”. Obviously if I could have spoken to the car hire I could have had this conversation myself. When I challenged the receptionist on this he shouted at me in the reception and told me “it wasn’t his issue.” and to “go somewhere else and get a car! We aren’t helping you!” I asked to speak to his manager and he told me “that’s not anything to do with you”, asked from his name and again he told me “you don’t need to know that”. I found out it was either LJ or Ubi. He was an aggressive, rude and argumentative man. Following on form this, one of the lovely cleaners called the manager who was in Athens and let me speak with her. The manager told me that “it wasn’t her problem and that I just wanted money off the booking” and also that “they will not help us find another company”. What I actually wanted was for her to tell me how she would manage the rude staff member, but that did not happen. The other staff in reception were generally not helpful and rude. The staff at breakfast and in the snack bar were cold or on their phones. Making it awkward if you were to approach them. Customer service, like I say, needs a massive amount of work. The rooms are not as advertised, no air con in some rooms. Shower rail was rusty. Light fitting hanging off ceiling. Screw sticking off of wall, dangerous for catching skin. The air con, that was in the main room, had a pipe going to the balcony with a bottle to catch the water. just generally looked awful. Pool loungers were comfy but paint flaking away from them. The men’s toilet in the snack bar didn’t have a working lock. Spend your money sensibly and stay somewhere that cares about their guests. There is a Radisson Blue nearby, I recommend staying there.

  Very nice place, beachfront, beautiful apartmen, very clean. Everything is new, the staff is so wonderful, helpful and eager to help you with anything, especially recepcionist. They make you feel like home. Breakfast is nice, there is everything that you need, very nicely served, all kinds of cut fruits(that does not taste like onions like in every other place). Water in the pool is so warm that you don’t wanna get out, sunbeds are comfy and big. So I would 100% recommend this place , and I would really like to go there again.

  We booked the superior room, and got standard (at least that’s how they name that room in their booking profile). So anyone that plans to book the room - be aware of that misleading info of this hotel profiles in booking.com and other aggregators. The photos are misleading.We came with one luggage, normally you expect that someone from hotel will help you with carrying it to your room, not in this case. That’s some new way of hospitality.Wifi - you can’t find it in some places, but probably not in your room.Yet, the pool is nice.

  Week Stay at Elmarel Villas at Kamari Beach...

  We booked very last minute direct with the property owners who made the booking and arrangements very easy. Our apartment was excellent with clear views over the pool and beach (probably the best in the resort!) and the view of the sun rising was worth getting up for every morning!Very helpful and friendly team who made us feel very welcome during our stay.
