  Fantastic views, terrible hill to walk up in the heat!

  The views from the hotel are amazing! Definitely the highlight of my stay there! The downside was the awful hill! I am not unfit, perse! I do a lot of walking as I don't drive, but in the heat, it really was a struggle, I had to stop and rest several times.It is a beautiful looking hotel, but really needs a bit of TLC. My first room, T.V never worked, even after reporting, never got fixed, so 2 days later they gave me a different room. Sadly, this one had a leak under the toilet, it came up every time you flushed. I had to use my towels to stem the flow, or risk slipping over on the wet floor. This again was mentioned several times, but it never got fixed! When I told the manager (Maria) She said she knew as the previous guest had reported it???? Then she said, she just forgot!!! The Jacuzzi wasn't working. the hinges that prevent the door shutters banging were broken, so that was really annoying when trying to sleep! I think a classification of 4 Star, is a tad generous. Breakfast was ok, typical Greek, always plentiful and frequently topped up.I wouldn't stay again, because of the hill alone!

  We recently had the most amazing time at Epavlis Hotel Kamari, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly checked out, everything was perfect.Service & Staff: The staff deserves the highest praise. They were genuinely warm, incredibly welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Whether it was giving local dining tips or helping with transportation, their service was top-notch and always delivered with a smile. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The peaceful atmosphere of the hotel ensured we had a restful sleep every night. If you can, book a room with a view—waking up to the scenery outside was truly a highlight!Location & Atmosphere: The hotel location strikes a perfect balance—it's serene and relaxing, yet close enough to all the local attractions and restaurants. The grounds themselves are lovely and contribute to a very tranquil holiday atmosphere.We are already planning our return trip. If you are looking for a place that offers exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a truly amazing overall experience, look no further than Epavlis Hotel Kamari!!!!. Five stars across the board!

  Stay away and look somewhere else

  Don’t be fooled with the photos. Even if you get the best room as we did, the tiny balcony joins to another’s toilet. I had to ask the gentleman to close the window as I could see everything. You’re overlooked each side with a small wall. Be great for a swingers hotel. Bed extremely hard, small mattress, 1 pillow only. It was dirty, lots of broke items. No soap. Car park is a minefield.   Very, very disappointing

  Probably the most disappointing hotel I've ever stayed at. Very run down, everything in the room broken, poor standard of cleanliness, no hospitality (not even offered a drink of water on arrival, despite being told the tap water is undrinkable). No iron or kettle in the room. Breakfast mostly cold with no provision for food intolerance. A heated jacuzzi with a great view, but it broke early on in the trip when we got up early to see the sunrise. Clumps of hair and dirt in the jacuzzi. Very inconsistent housekeeping, some days not coming at all, some days just giving us one fresh towel between us and a single toilet roll. Of course, you have to throw your toilet paper in the bin not the toilet as this is not a modern building like some others in Santorini. The shower holder was broken so the shower kept fallins on us, even hitting one of us on the head. This was a first holiday with a girlfriend and also a birthday trip, but it hasn't been as expected, the pictures were not accurate, the price is vastly too high for an experience like this, and they dropped the ball on service and hospitality which could have made up for the general state of disrepair.   Extremely disappointing

  This hotel is marketed as a spa hotel, this is far from the reality. No way is this a 4⭐️ The sheets and towels are stained and not fit for purpose, the bathroom is dangerous as the shower head fell on my foot twice! The owners are so miserable and barely spoke to us. The breakfast was plentiful but strange including cauliflower one morning! No bar staff for most of the stay as the bartender left abruptly!Definitely not worth paying the extra money to stay here.
