  WICKED and Bad Service, Race stuff, Rude attitude, amount devastate our holiday at Santorini

  Booked this hotel at June and planned to stay in here 2 days . When we come we noticed from hotel reception that we didn't Pay it online, although we already paid on Booking.com. After that, we were takes to a basement room by their stuff, but when I booked this hotel, I paid online is Double rooms ,with balcony and sea view rooms. We begin to questioning---of course we need it because everything is wired and terrible. And then, most drama thing happened. Stuff begin to give us very bad gesture and try to say the reason why they give us the basement because she is feel every Asia (Korea, or Chinese) name is wired and looks the same. She even don't care we called our bank in England, and shout to me nearly 10 mins. When We back to London, I noticed that I can't make any commons on Booking.com, bacuase stuff at Karterados(or called Aldea at Karterados at Booking.com) deleted room recording on Booking.com.DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE DONT.

  If I could pick negative 5 stars I would. The rooms are dirty and stinky, the toilets are barely functional, I woke up with new bug bites every morning and the owners are grumpy and miserable....prepare to be woken up by their yelling at early hours of the morning. Although our check out time was 11 am they banged on our door at 9 demanding us to leave so they could "clean." Do not stay here unless you are broke and do not mind putrid smells while you sleep.

  I booked this through Hostelworld for a little over 20 euro per night.The directions the hostel provides are absolutely terrible. They're extremely vague and written in poor English. When I finally found it after walking around with my luggage for over two hours, thankfully my room was ready early. The room was quaint, and did have a mini fridge and remote-controlled AC unit. There is a quaint swimming pool and you can see the ocean. Karterados also has a small handful of restaurants and bakeries (one is 24 hours) within walking distance.The down side to it is that the manager and his wife, who hardly speak English, sit outside and yell and bicker a lot, very loudly. And, on my last day, the manager banged on my door and asked when I was leaving. I asked when checkout was and he replied "you leave now." So, I had to throw my belongings together at 9 AM and leave. I went downstairs to pay and he slid me a piece of paper with my balance due, and it showed 91 Euro were due, even though Hostelworld showed I owed 40.80 Euro. I showed him the confirmation and then he asked me to write down what I owed. So, I wrote 40.80 and he replied "you pay eighty." Aggravated, I finally showed him a 50 bill and he emptied out the coins from his pocket to get my change. I had him pull out another 5 and finally, walked off with my 9.20 in change.If you are looking for a good hotel, go to Villa Manos, which was so much more welcoming to me.

  Good price and location for Santorini

  This place was nice and cute. I'd recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Santorini on a budget. Even though it's on the cheaper side, you'd really be surprised at how close you are to everything you want to see and at how decent the rooms and hotel grounds actually are. The owners are a really reeeeeally old Greek couple who speak little-to-no English so communication was a bit difficult at times, but they certainly make everything work. They also held our luggage for us after check-out as our flight was later that evening. Nice people.
