Location

This small hotel is located on the rim of the Caldera facing the sea and the volcano, in the famous village of Imerovigli, just 10 minutes from the island's capital, Fira town, where a variety of bars and nightclubs can be found. Santorini Island is easily accessible via air and sea, with the airport and Athinios port just 10 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 12 suites and 10 studios. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby.     We had 4 wonderful nights at this hotel, staying in a Senior Suite with amazing views. The accommodation was faultless, we just loved the space anmd amentities that our room offered. The complimentary wine and goodies on arrival was certainly a nice touch, along with complimentary bottles of water each day. The infinity pool area was great with wonderful views. Breakfast was included looking out to the pool area. There was an excellent selection to choose from. The staff at breakfast were very attentive, professional & friendly. Zestomi who helped us with our luggage was excellent. Our suitcases were very heavy, especially as we traveling in Europe from New Zealand for 5 weeks. It was no problem, he carried the suitcases on his shoulder. A very strong fit young guy who was extremely friendly & professional.We would highly recommend Katikies Chromata should you be staying at Santorini.

    Katikies Chromata has a great position high in Imerovigli overlooking the volcanos. and it looks in reality even better than on the pictures. The rooms are spacious and build in cycladic tradition, if possible you should opt for a suite with outdor jacuzzi or pool (but even the standard suites are pretty spacious). Katerina and her team did a great job to fullfill all our wishes, this shows the level of service you get here. The views are breathtaking and in my opinion better than most ones in Oia. Sunset can be enjoyed from your own terrace or from the gourmet restaurant. The breakfast around the infinity pool is also an unique experience that is hard to duplicate. We usually stay in the most luxurious hotels available in the area we travelling so our expectations were pretty high. Katikies Chromata fully delivered!

    This hotel was fantastic! Our hotel room was amazing and had beautiful views of the sea and city, I loved the our own private pool on our balcony, a must! The staff at this hotel really went above and beyond, from the concierge to the breakfast staff to the Cleaners. Not to mention that the breakfast that was included had a lot of options and everything was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a couple.
