Location

The hotel is located in the centre of the traditional village of Akrotiri, which is on the south side of Santorini island, the perfect place for visitors who want to relax in a friendly and quiet environment. The famous prehistoric town of Akrotiri, the unique Red and White beaches are within walking distance of the hotel. The sunset from the old light house and the contact with the local people is another interesting experience. The village offers everything that visitors may need - mini markets, taverns by the sea and most importantly of all, frequent transportation to and from Fira Town. Santorini Airport is approximately 9 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 36 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The hotel has family rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

A dip in the refreshing outdoor pool is not to be missed. Even on grey days, guests can always go for a swim in the indoor pool. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of sports are offered at the hotel, including beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis and horse riding. With snorkelling or, for a fee, water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The hotel offers indoor sporting activities such as a gym or, for a fee, billiards. The wellness area's offerings provide pure relaxation and include a spa and a beauty salon. For a fee, massage treatments is also available. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We stayed at this hotel for a week and had not visited the island previously. We did not know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The photos looked stunning so we took a chance, but we loved it. Simple breakfast but just what you need on holiday. Anything else you wanted you could get from the shop next door. The area was quiet but had multiple restaurants to choose from including some nicer ones and more relaxed ones. The hotel allows dogs so we had the pleasure of meeting the resident pup and two guest chihuahua’s!! We will 100% be back.

    We came back a couple of days ago, so this memory is really fresh, let alone the hundreds of photos I shot, some of them can be seen here. Enjoy. OK, so, I can tell you this place is really good. Nice, tidy, picturesque, you cannot stop shooting photos. The hotel looks like a small village within the village, for it is not one block but some 15 units separated by nice, stoned pathways, steps, trees. The whole place has a very special old fashioned characteristics which makes you feel if you went back the time some 150 years - in the best sense, however, this is the general property of the whole island. Intentionally old fashioned. - Rooms: basic, but comfortable, properly equipped. - Pool: shining, cleaned. Very pleasant.- Housekeeping: thorough, everything is tidy, well cleaned.- Food: very good - the reason why you have to wait some 15 minutes to get the main menu is very simple: everything is fresh made. Please be advised: this place offers a "full board", NOT "all inclusive", it is far from the same! Anyway, it is OK, but be aware of this fact. - Staff: nice, busy, lovable people.- Area: frequented but not crowded. Lots of classic, old Greek styled, narrow streets around the main street, worth to climb if you can. Very picturesque. Close and simple public transport connection, well equipped shops everywhere within your grasp, literally the next buildings. - Prices: average to the general standards of the island, however it depends of your perception. After all:I only can encourage you to book this hotel if you visit the island. Have a nice holiday!

    We didn’t stay at the resort but ate at the restaurant a couple of times and voula was excellent . She was so friendly attentive and lovely . The meals were great !

    We didn’t stay at the resort but we visited the restaurant/bar a few times during our stay. We really enjoyed the food/drinks/hospitality. That was mainly down to Vula who was fabulous and really efficient. It didn’t matter how busy the place got (and at times it was very busy) she always had time for a quick chat whilst making sure nobody else was waiting. And even if we turned up quite late before her shift was due to finish, she made sure we were served and had everything we needed. She was a fine example of Greek charm and hospitality and a credit to her employers. Thank you Vula. From Amanda and Joe (London).

    It was the first time for us visiting Santorini. The experience was not good at all. We found two big cockroaches in the room. The room did not smell good. We bought all inclusive and at the end they said it was only full board and we had to pay for the drinks. They showed the tickets on the last day of our trip without saying that we had to pay for it on the first day. The guy was rude during the holidays. Also, if you want to rest do not book this hotel because it is very noisy at night and in the morning too. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Breakfast was poor and same everyday. Shower is too small and our stay here was not pleasant. Unfortunately, you never came to inform us about anything, in order to help and assist you. Your behavior just change when you understand that you will pay all your extras and then you try to find ways to black mail us. As you promise us you post many bad reviews because we didn’t give you complimentary all the drinks and the transfer services. You booked “Full Board” and we informed you at the first day of your arrival at the front desk, that drinks are not included. Also, the waiter informed you, when it came to your first dinner.We have many guests, who book Half -or Full Board with us and they don’t speak English at all and all of them immediately understand the description of their service they booked. You, on the other hand, you spoke very well English, and still after two times of explanation, by two different people, couldn’t understand?Even when we ask you to show us a voucher at the Check-Out, which mentions an “All Inclusive” reservation, you couldn’t for any reason and you pretended that your mobile was stuck.If you really booked and paid for this service, we have to inform you, that you need to talk to your travel agency, because they sold you a service we, the hotel, don’t even offer and never offered before. Still, we are very sorry that we didn’t reach your expectations (for free drinks...) and we wish you all our best!
