  Beautiful Sunset from the Balcony right in front of Skaros rock.

  We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked from their site.Breakfast was included in the price. We had to get directions to get there by bus from Fira. They said get down from bus turn left, pass the church, come to the square,pass the super market. We did. Only hiccup was When we got down the bus It was a Y section. I said turn left from my left and my husband said left of the bus. So we crossed the road and walked up hill. And there was a church. But there are so many churches where ever you look in Greece. So We dragged our luggage and walked up the steep hill, came to a square. We couldn't find the super market. Main road had a shopping strip. No one knew Spolitica. Their were so many on the cliff. There were boards and arrows to every street stating which hotels on which rd. We called again and We were asked to come up the hill to Buddha bar. That every one knew. It was a steep hill again. We did it. Owner had sent a guy to guide us from there.We were so exhausted. Hotel guy placed one luggage on his back and one in his hand and guided us to the hotel through flight of steps down and then up and turn left and right. We have never experienced a cliff accommodation before. I was feeling bad for the guy. Mu husband tried to carry one bag but he insisted and didn't let us. Finally we arrived and it was a warm welcome. Owners were friendly and welcoming. They showed us their faculty.They had 3 different spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They all had a beautiful view of Caldera. Our room was nice very roomy. Clean. Bathroom was good with supplies. We had a really comfortable sleep. We loved sitting in the balcony and absorbing the view as much as possible. Quieter than Oia but breath taking views. Their breakfast is a set one with cheese and ham toasties, boiled egg, glass of juice, tea or coffee, bowl of peaches from tin, yogurt, beautiful fresh bread slices and spreads. It was quite ok because we don't normally eat a massive breakfast. All set on a tray and they will bring it the table. Starts from 8am. If you don't like ham and cheese toasted sandwich just tell them when they ask for tea coffee. We had crepes and ice cream at their snack bar. Prices are reasonable. There aren't any good restaurants in town anyway. On our way out we too the bus again to Oia. We thought down hill would be easy and it was. The same guy helped us to bring our luggage up. These guys deserve their tips. So beautiful to walk around. We walked down and went across to Skaros rock. So nice to look at Imerovigli from Skaros. We walked to Fira along the cliff and it was a very pleasant enjoyable walk. I'd recommend starting early for sun gets hotter by 11 am. I would deffinitly stay here again and will take a taxi to Buddah bar.

  Horrible breakfast

  We went here for breakfast and what a terrible experience. My husband ordered the American breakfast and the eggs looked like hash. I ordered the continental breakfast and it was a big bowl of yogurt with some fruit, corn flakes with sour milk, toast and coffee. The service was horrible. Go to Vallas in Firostefani instead. We also had to tables smoking right near us in an enclosed area.

  As the name describes located on the cliff in the middle of the island the view is amazing, from this location you can see the whole island, the facility has a restaurant a Bar and a lounge, all have an excellent view. Had the seafood platter was excellent.

  Bad food, bad service and tried to screw us on the bill.

  This is a review of the cafe bar only - we didn't stay at the hotel. We were really unimpressed with this place. Slow service, awful food which seems cheap until you get it when it suddenly seems very expensive. When we asked for the bill, they just told us a number rather then giving us the print out of the bill as normal. We knew the amount they said was wrong so we asked to see the bill properly and sure enough, it was less than the number they stated. We avoided this place for the rest of the holiday. Beware!!!

  This hotel is alright. We got the best room though. Isolated and right in from of Skaros Rock. Spacious and with a little balcony. We loved it. The bathroom is outdated and has no curtain, so basically you take a shower and leave a pond on the floor. Breakfast was pretty decent. The pool is 4 stories up and the phone wasn't working so to get something from the bar you had to go all the way down.Service at the bar needs improvement. My husband got food poison from another restaurant so we spent the whole day in the room which to go up to the bar we had to go up many stairs. I was taking care of him and called the bar to bring us a soda and plain and simple, this girl told me that they couldn't because they were short in staff and didn't offer an alternative or even to bring it later or something. But oh well! We lived.Christos is super nice and friendly. We had good talks! Nice guy!
