    Outstanding place to stay in Santorini

    Our family of 4 just returned from a 3 night stay at the Pleiades Eco Houses. We stayed in the Electra unit. We are so happy with our choice to stay here. It had everything we needed including a great location to tour Santorini, a wonderful pool to relax at, and a beautiful view of the sea in the distance. Restaurants in the nearby village were within walking distance. Stamatina, the proprietor, and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful - picking us up at the airport, dropping us off at the port, offering recommendations, and arranging a rental car for us for part of our time there (including delivery of the car to the Pleiades Eco houses). The daily breakfast delivered to our suite was delicious and a great way to start each day. We highly recommend the accommodations here, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Unforgettable stay in this best kept secret !

    Back from a dream week spent at the Pleiades Eco Houses. If you are more into "being" rather than "seeming", you can go there with your eyes closed.We stayed in the Merope studio: a nice area, with a nice little kitchen area, a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Every morning, a "VIP" excellent breakfast prepared by Penelope was served on the table on our terrace with tea/coffee, orange juice, bread, fresh fruit, excellent jams and, every day, a different very good cooked meal. Simply the very best breakfast we have had in Greece (15 years that we have been in this country, minimum 1 time a year). As for the structure in general, everything is done with great taste, the 4 houses in which the apartments are located surround a magnificent swimming pool by which we spent our afternoons (alone..). Stamatina, the owner is really very nice, sincerely kind (it's not just a posture), she answered all ours mall wishes (from the begining to the end) with always the same kindness and efficiency.Excellent location, really excellent location. The beautiful villages of Santorini (Oia, Fira, Imerovigli) clinging to the cliffside are all within a 20 minute drive. Good tavernas/restaurant close. You'll need a car.Unfortunately, victims of their success, they are taken over by hordes of tourists and huge cruise ships. What a great pleasure, after our morning visits, to return to the peaceful Pleiades Eco Houses structure to lounge by the pool and/or play Tavli (Backgammon) on our small terrace before to go out for dinner (or to prepare our meal)."To be" rather than "to appear"! Let those who wish (looks for) to go and stay in these hyper touristic villages (not possible to lie by a swimming pool without tourists not above, below, in front, or behind you...) and go to the Pleiades Eco House, thanks to which we will never forget this stay

    This place is a no brainer for Santorini. 5 stars all the way!

    The Location: This villa is located in Vothonas, about 5 minutes away from the airport by car. So even after a long day of travelling, it won't take much longer to put your bags down and chill. Proximity to the airport aside, Vothonas is right in the middle of the island, making it no more than 30 minutes from any attraction in any direction. My wife and I rented a quad and circled the entire island fairly easily. We visited Oia, Pyrgos, Fira, Theros...etc., due to staying in this ideal location. The Grounds: Pleiades is simply gorgeous. It's safe to say that the reality of the property matches its pictures. The place is clean, well kept and naturally beautiful. I took pictures of it just so that I can always mentally come back to it, while busy in my everyday life. I miss it already. The Food: Breakfast was prepared every day. And I looked forward to it just as much as seeing the most sought-after sights around the island. Waking up and watching the Sun begin to beam, while taking my sweet time eating freshly made breakfast is a sublime experience. I did this every single day, as the wife slept. This is how we should all start the day. The Hostess: Stamatina is just excellent. My wife and I arrived very late, around 11 pm local time due to flight delays. She was still up and welcomed us to our villa. Stamatina prepared everything and even gave us a full itinerary to explore. That initial impression played itself out throughout our time, as she was always available but never bothersome. And when it came to booking extras such as rentals, cruises...etc, she was most helpful. As an example, my wife and I had to catch a 7:30 am flight out of Santorini. Stamatina knew this, and woke up early to make us sandwiches so that we could still eat breakfast one last time. Btw, her daughter Eva is just as involved as Stamatina and just as lovely. She was a pleasure to interact with herself, and also goes the extra mile. I recall trying to get to Santo Winery, and she offered to get in her car and give me a tow. It's gestures like that can compell someone to go and write lengthy recommendations. The Conclusion: I honestly didn't want to leave. And if I'm going back to Santorini, I would come right back here. It's 5 stars for me.

    Very clean and comfortable villa with clean pool right outside your door. Homemade breakfast was excellent and changed daily and brought to your villa! Linens and beds were extremely comfortable. Sunrise was stunning. Stamatina’s restaurant recommendations were excellent as to quality of food and variety of settings ( on beach or outdoor on rooftop with excellent island views). Grounds as beautiful as see in pixx. Short drive from everywhere but do rent car.

    Where to start. Stamatina and her staff go above and beyond for the guests. We were treated as friends, and accommodated throughout. The highlights:- breakfast. Fresh and different everyday. Beautiful spread and was received when it was convenient for us.- the eco villa, clean and spacious. We cooked couple of times and housekeeping was great with swift tidy up.- we were assured for privacy, being Muslim women and wanting to sunbathe we were accommodated in this.- the marmalade. Homemade and exquisite! - will return next year. What a wonderful place to make memories with the kindest of people. - the car was very useful. Could not have seen or experienced everything we did. Thank you Stamatina, Yanni and staff.
